Chapter 13

Here I am, like a fool. Searching for a best restaurant.. Yeah here, I guess this must taste better. Me and my Mom usually go here.

I sat down in a couch. Uh, I miss this place. "You know what, you must not judge her." A voice said

I guess they are arguing. I look at it uh-oh, wrong restaurant. That's Anne! Anne annoys me every time we see each other. I cover my face with the plastics. Hoping that they aren't going to see me.

I hate it, I hate my day. I'm angry uh. Damn it!. They pass through me. Huh, I inhaled deeply. Then I'm comfortable now.
"Excuse me Mam, Mr. Kofer and his friends were reserved here." A miss said

Who cares about Mr. Kofer?. "Why didn't you put a mark  reserved?" I ask
She shut her mouth thinking of an excuse. Did I scare her? Well, lucky for her I'm not in a bad mood today.

"Okay fine, find me a place Miss." I said and smiled.
She was glad hearing what I said and she smiled at me. My heart feels contented, happy. I miss this feeling..

"Airish?" A voice said
I turn my head and went back to the lady. "I need to go!" I said to her
"No need to Miss, she's one of my friend!' I know that voice, its Anne's voice.
"Actually I already finished eating." I said to Anne without looking her.

I hope this works, I really am not good of telling lies. "You just arrived Miss!" The lady said
Damn it. I am caught in my own lie, Ayiesh. Anne held my arms and let me sit again in the couch, she sat beside me and that girl I don't know. Awkward, uh I hate it. I really do. I continue reading my book The Red Queen. Wearing my glasses on, just to avoid awkwardness.

Cyrus and his friends arrived. Sh!t. "Hey guys!" I know its Perry
I try not to look at them. "By the way, Airish will join us!." Anne said
"No I'm not!" I muttered
"Did you say something?" Someone ask

I look up to see it, Cyrus. "I need to use the Comfort Room." I said
"Ops, you must left your phone, bags. And the items you brought. Just in case." Anne said
"Damn it!" I murmur

I went to the comfort room. I look myself to the mirror. I inhaled deeply and went outside quietly. I sat beside these two girls and continue reading. They order theirs and waiting for mine.
"What do you want?" Anne asked
"This?" The girl said and pointed a pig. A cooked pig in the picture.
"No um this?" Anne said pointing the crabs

I'm going dizzy right now. "Let me choose for her." Cyrus said. And these two girls beside me is under a shock. Cyrus told the lady, I don't know what he ordered for me. I hope it would be vegetables.

"I'm Lexi!" The girl said beside me and stretch a hand to give a shake.
"Hi!" I replied in a cold voice and continue reading it.
"You'll get through it Lexi!" Anne said with a chuckle

"By the way Airish. You already know Cyrus and Perry and this is Beyer!" Anne said and pointed him. He smiled at me, and wink. Yuck!.
"Tsk." I murmur

"Um are you okay now? I heard you were in the clinic yesterday?!." Lexi said
Do I need to answer it?!. "I'm always fine." I replied with a smirk
"Oh really? And what can you say when you're in the clinic, you call it fine?" Cyrus said
I shrug a bit. I'm not going to answer him, tsk.
"Did you ever know, Cyrus carried you in the clinic. Luckily he catches you when you fainted.
Really?!. Gosh. I didn't mind it.

*KRING, KRING*

I get my phone in my bag. I saw its my Step Mom. I press call ended.. And put my cell in the table."Why didn't you answer it?" Beyer ask
"What's this? Knowing each other?!." I murmur
"Kinda!" Lexi replied
"Oh no, no, no." I said
"Why do you like hurting others?" Perry asked
"Its her nature." Cyrus replied
I nodded.

*kring* my phone rang again. I look at it to know who is calling. Step Mom!.
"Whose step —" I cut Anne off
"Nothing!."

Calk ended. Ayiesh. "Who is she?" Anne ask in a loud voice. What the heck?!.
"Who?" Lexi ask
"Step Mom!" Anne replied. I'm doomed.. Uh I hate it..
"You don't need to know. She's a monster." I said with a smirk
"Like you?" Cyrus ask
"More than I. You don't need to know my story, its tragic and its not nice." I said
Cyrus stared with curiosity.

Our order is served, wow he really know what I like. Vegetables... "Yuck!" Anne said
"You hate it?" Lexi questioned Anne
"I don't like vegetables!" Anne replied

We started eating and it was just for free. Mr. Kofer is so kind at all.. Wish I know him better.

After eating, we went outside the mall to wait for our services.
"Bye Airish!" Anne shouted and get in the car with Lexi.
"Bye bro!" Cyrus friends said and waved goodbye in their own car.

No way, we are only two left. Awkward, and tense. "Do you like the food I chose?" He asked destroying our silence. Yes!.
"You don't need to answer it. I know you like it" He said with a smile. Don't smile at me cause I don't like seeing people smiling at me.
"I don't like it but I love it." I said in a low voice
He chuckle, I heard him chuckling. Ayiesh

"I never know that even a bad girl could say a word like it. I don't remember your saying those love words, cause I thought you always hate." He said
"Shut up can you?" I said
"When is your driver going to fetch you?" He asked
"My phone is low batt do you have your phone, let me borrow!" I said it in a demand
"Demanding? My phone is in my car. Why?" He asked
"No need I need to commute."

I started to walk but he pulled me. "That hurts!" I complain
"I'll drive you home!"

I was drag in the basement. He never said sorry of what he did pulling me. Tsk. But I hate to admit it that I'm thankful.
