35.WHAAATTT?!?!

After finally being a bit more at ease singing with the guys I got summoned by Blair.

"Can I ask you a question Harriet?" I just nod. "Why haven't you ever done anything with this. You can really sing."

"Thanks Blair... I've never really thought about it. It's not something that ever crossed my mind to do. You wouldn't think it but I'm not that most confident person at times..." I stop.

"It doesn't matter how confident you are, it's about just doing it. The feeling when you sing just takes away all that... I wanna help you... From what I heard you have so much potential..."

Where is he going with this?

"Here's what I'm proposing... The guys tour is coming up and we have an empty slot we need to fill... So... I would like to offer you that space."

Oh... my... God... What is happening right now?

I just look at him, my mouth wide open and not being able to speak. "And... If all goes well... I would also like to offer you a place in the Alpha Dog family."

I still just look at him.

How.. how do you reply to that? That's like my dream being handed to me...

Is there a catch? This is happening very suddenly.

"I.. I.. I honestly don't know... What..." I stop. I actually can't speak right now.

"Take your time." I manage to catch my breath. "I don't know what to say.. This is like.. This is gonna sound cheesy, but like a dream come true... I'd be stupid to say no."

"So is that a yes?" I just nod. "Thank you so much." I've never hugged someone faster.

"It's not for definite..."

"I know... But I'm ready for whatever... That means technically I'm a trialist..."

"Yeah, guess it does.." he smiles slightly amused at what I just said.
"Not for the band though..."

"Yeah, imagine.." I slightly laugh. "Come on then let's go and tell them the bad news."

I go into the living room first and they were all messing round.

"Guys listen up..." Yhey all stop and look at Blair. Blair gestures to me to speak. "So you know how you guys are going on tour... Well.. How do you feel about having another support act?"

"Who?"

Really? Are they that oblivious?

I not-so-discreetly gesture to myself and it took them a good few seconds to catch on. "What?!"

"For real?" I nod and all the girls started jumping up and down like idiots. "That's awesome!"

The guys all got up and practically rugby tackled me into a hug.

"Guys .. can't... breathe..." I try saying but these lumps were strangling me.

"Alright guys..  Don't kill her." They all eventually let go and I could breathe again. "I know..."

"Rule one you two... No PDA when I'm around... Got it?" Me and Andy look at each other not trying to laugh. "Yes Blair..."

"Good... So here's the thing... I told Harriet if all goes well on tour then I'd happily give her a place in the Alpha Dog family."

"It looks like you'll be seeing me a lot more now Brooky."

"Oh great..."

He's happy really...

"Look at the joy on your face.." I start squeezing his cheeks. "Get off.." He wafts my hand away.

"Blair... You do realise what you're getting yourself into with these on tour together..."

Meaning me and Brook. Obviously...

"Mikey. I've put up with you four long enough haven't I?" Blair jokes.
