After 2 days, Boruto, Mitsuki and Sarada were at Konoha's gates getting ready to part. Boruto's sister, Himawari went to say good bye to his brother.

"Good luck nii-chan!" said Himawari with one of her warmest smiles. "Take care of yourself okay?"

"Nee, Hima this mission's easy so it won't take long-ttebasa!" Boruto said with a grin.

Sasuke suddenly arrived at the gates looking for Sarada and ready to say goodbye. Mitsuki and the Uzumaki brothers looked at her friend expecting her to talk to him but she just ignored him.

"Sarada.." Sasuke said expecting her to turn around to see him. She was hesitating.

"Sarada..." Sasuke insisted with a serious, almost warning voice. She finally turned around to give him a dead glare.

"Hn.." Was all the male Uchiha could hear from her. He knew she was still mad at him but he had to tried what his comrade suggested him.

There was an awkward silence between them. Suddenly, Sasuke lifted up his hand to poke her head with his two fingers.

She dodged him.

Sasuke was caught by surprise with her act. He was a bit disappointed but he did his best to hide it from her. He looked at his daughter eyes and while gave her a warm smile.

"I'll see you in a month?" He cursed himself for the ridiculous question he used as an icebreaker.

Meanwhile, Sarada blinked a few times before speaking. "I don't know how long I'll take."

"In that case, I'll see you soon." Sasuke replied.

"Hn."

The new team 7 left the Hidden Leaf Village after that. Himawari was standing beside Sasuke, waving at them while he stared at the horizon, trusting that nothing bad could happen to her daughter.

Himawari sensed that her uncle's attitude. "Uncle Sasuke? Are you okay?"

Sasuke looked down at the mini Hinata for a while before turning around to leave. "Come, I'll take you to your mother."

Himawari nodded knewing that her Uncle wouldn't tell her what he was thinking so she followed him quietly.
