The next morning, Sarada went out early to the training grounds. For her surprise, she found Boruto training hard on his battle skills.
"I need to be more strong strong dattebasa!!" he said while punching a tree. Sarada watched him in silence.
"more, more, More, MORE AAHH!!" he yelled while hurting his hand. "Damm it!!"
"Boruto.." Sarada said while Boruto suddenly turned around and hided his hurted hand.
"Sa-Sarada! What are you doing here dattebasa?" he said nervous. "It's too early for you to-"
Sarada came close r to him and took his hurted hand and started to heal him. "How can you protect others if you hurt yourself likt this?" she said while her green chakra cured his area.
"Besides" she continued. "You've never been a morning person"
Boruto gulped while she finished healing his hand.
"What's wrong Boruto?" she asked. "Mitsuki's getting worried about your training.."
"It's nothing" he said. Sarada raised an eyebrow.
"Don't make me use my eyes please.." she said. "Tell me"
"Why should I? After all that happened you shouldn't be talking with me dattebasa.."
"You're right, I shouldn't be but somehow.." she replied while sighing. "I can't turn my back on someone who's suffering just like I did"
Boruto stood still, not looking at her. Sarada waited for him to start the conversation.
"Sarada..I" he said. "I'm sorry...for, for everything" Sarada's eyes showed surprise.
"Sarada, I-I alway's hated myself for not protecting you that time...I didn't know how to deal with it so I found it easier to apart myself from you saying those words.."
He sighed, "I thought I would never go through all that but, when you and Himawari got trapped again I panicked. I didn't know what to do dattebasa..."
"Boruto..." she said.
"I felt weak and useless. If it weren't from dad who came here and stopped him...Himawari..." he started crying. Sarada leaned closer and hugged him tightly.
"Calm down Boruto. It wasm't your fault" she said trying to comfort him.
"I'm so sorry dattebasa.." he said between tears.
"It's okay, we were all scared" she said. "and I forgive you.."
"Sarada..." said Boruto while breaking the hug. He was surprised. "I don't deserve you, what I did-"
"Is in the past, idiot" she teased, smiling at him. Boruto kissed her.
Sarada flinched a little at his sudden move but soon she gave up to the kiss. He kissed her lips in a soft and kind way, trying his best not to scare her.
"Sarada-chan" he said while breaking the kiss. "I promise I'll be a better man. I'll prove myself to our families and have a new beginning with you"
She smiled at him. "I know you will, Boruto-kun. Now let's go home" she said while stepping up. Boruto did the same while taking her hand.

"So you're back with my daughter" Sasuke said while drinking his tea, acting as calm as usual.
Boruto shrugged nervously, "H-hai!"
"And are you okay with this?" he said turning around to see his daughter.
Sarada nodded. "I don't see any problem papa..."
"That's good to hear" said Sakura who was sitting beside him. "I wish you too the best of luck"
"Thanks Mama" Sarada said. "If you don't mind, we're gonna telk the news to Hokage-sama"
"Hn, go ahead" said Sasuke while the young couple left the house. Then he turned to his wife.
"What did you made her do Sakura?!" he said.
"The same thing I did with you Sasuke-kun" she said while drinking her tea. "Give you a chance"
"Hn." he said. "Maybe tomorrow I should start training Boruto"
"If you kill him she'll never forgive you Sasuke-kun" she warned.
"Who said I needed to kill him?" he said while smirking. Sakura sighed knowing that Boruto will have a hard time with his husband.
