Chapter 18 - Hunt for the Cure

Rarity's P.O.V

I watched as the doors shut behind Twilight as she,um,he entered the castle.
I really hope Twilight finds a cure.I mean,my hair is quite fabulous as a stallion,but I prefer being a mare,I thought in my head as I sighed.
"Do you really think that the princesses have a cure for this?"I looked up at Rainbow Dash,who's head was tilted in confusion.
"We can have our doubts,but I think that they should.If it exists,there's a cure for it..."Fluttershy muttered as she trailed off.She moved her hoof against the ground in an awkward manner,her nervousness on the subject showing through quite easily.
"That sounds like something inappropriate."Pinkie Pie exclaimed as she bounced up and down,being carefree as always.
"It does....if it exists,there's a po-"
"OK,I THINK WE KNOW WHAT RAINBOW MEANS."Applejack quickly shouted,cutting off Rainbow before she could finish her sentence.Rainbow huffed as she rolled her eyes and looked away.
"I'm just hoping that this is something that just effects us for a day,no something that needs a cure to be reversed.I need my hooficure,and they might not believe if it was me if I scheduled early."I muttered under my breath.Shaking my head,I looked up and spoke."Twilight will find a way to reverse this.Thats our Twilight,after all."
This seemed to calm everypony down a bit,but you could tell that we were all nervous in some shape,way,or form.
"That's Twilight for y'all,always there to save all of us in a situation like this."Applejack said as she smiled.We nodded as we waited for Twilight to come back.A couple minutes passed as I looked around.I was caught off guard at some point from what looked like a black and blue pony appeared walking down the hall,but when I blinked it was gone.Weird.

What seemed like hours passed before Twilight came back out.She was looking down at the ground,her ears bent back.
"Twilight!"I ran up to her and looked at her."Are you ok,darling?You look quite upset..."
"Y-Yeah,I'm fine!"Twilight stuttered as she looked up and smiled."T-Turns out there is a c-cure..!"
"Really?"Fluttshy asked."That's wonderful!What do we need for it?"
"I-Uh,T-The ingredients needed are at a book at my castle!Y-Yes,now c'mon,lets go!"Twilight quickly choked out as she started walking out of the Canterlot Castle.
What I noticed though is that her eyes were clouded with some sort of uncertainty...or was it doubt?One of the two.In any case,she looked bothered by something when she said that.
Is Twilight seriously ok....?,I thought silently.Shaking my head,I padded after her,along with the rest of us.

Twilight was padding around her library,levitating various books behind her.
"I thought you only needed one book."Pinkie stated as she tilted her head.Twilight froze for a second before responding.
"I thought so,but I remembered the cure has ingredients from multiple areas,so I'm grabbing books about cure ingredients from that area."Twilight said sternly as she held up the books that she was reading.There were three books.
The Everfree Forest - Potion Ingredients and where to find them,Cloudsdale Potions:Ingredients of the Skies,and Cures for Advanced Unicorns~Magical Creatures.
"I was thinking we'd go into groups of two.Me and Rarity would go for the Cures for Advanced Unicorns,Fluttershy and Rainbow with Potions:Ingredients of the Skies,and Pinkies & AJ with The Everfree Forest."
"That seems fair."Fluttershy replied,not having a problem.
"Twilight,are you sure I'm the best pony for the advanced unicorns?I mean,I'm not all that experienced with potions and things of that sort...."I asked,my doubts clouding my thoughts.
"You'll be fine Rarity.And besides--"Twilight said as she closed her book mid-sentence."You should have experience in potion making,you probably just don't remember it."
"Now that Twilight mentioned it,I do remember y'all at some point complaining about a potion class."Applejack spoke up,looking at me.I looked at them both,simply blinking.
"Maybe I did at some point....huh..."
"In any case,we should get going.I bookmarked the things you need to get."Twilight said as she dropped the two books on the floor,still holding the book for Unicorns."And now we should get going.We'll all meet back here later,cya!"Twilight said as she suddenly grabbed me with her magic and pulled me out of the room,leaving Flutters,AJ,Pinkie,and Rainbow behind.

"Twilight,where are we...?"
"Nearby the Dragonlands.Lets see....we're looking for the Dragon's Breath,known to be an ingredient in transformation cure potions."
"Dragon's Breath!?We need to find a Dragon!?"I yelled and stopped.Twilight chuckled and turned around.
"It's not literally Dragons Breath.Its a type of water found near the Dragonlands,known for its hot temperatures."Twilight said as she smiled,and continued walking.Hesitantly,I followed.
I don't like being so close to the Dragonlands.Besides Spike,these dragons can be pretty rude sometimes...I don't want to run into one...
We continued walking through underbrush and trees.....lots of trees.....until we came across some sort of hot spring.Twilight exclaimed and ran up to it.
"It's the Dragon's Breath!"
I trotted up to it and looked at it.It was foggy but clear water,steam rising up from the surface,and it was boiling.
"It looks so warm,like a hot tub...makes you just wanna get in-"
"Don't touch it!"Twilight said,pulling me back."The waters so hot,it could met your hoof on contact!"
"THEN HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO GET THIS!?"I shouted before realized how loud I spoke.Clearing my throat,I sighed."Excuse me for raising my voice like that.That was unmarelike of me."
"We're stallions."
"Then unstallionlike of me then."
"That's not a word."
"YOU KNOW MY POINT."
Twilight laughed as she pulled out some sort of potion bottle.It was crystallized and clear.
"This is crystallized Dragon's Breath,the only thing that can keep it contained without burning through the bottle."
"So it's like diamonds essentially?"
"Basically."Twilight said as she used her magic to get a full bottle of the water.Sealing it off,she looked at me and grinned.
"Watch this."Twilight stated as she shook the bottle,the water turning into mist inside."This is why it's called Dragon's Breath.If it's put under any kind of movement it turns into mist instantly.
"So what do we need next?"I ask.Twilight opens to another bookmark in the book.
"We need....Powered Gold Dust Moonlight Flowers..."Twilight responded.I groaned.
"Something tells me that this is going to be a looong day..."I muttered as I sighed.

Paw is my real senpai(That's my boyfriend,and that's not his actual name.Thats his pony of name.Luv ya Paw btw <3)

Anyways,news #2,I'm changing from public school to Cyberschool!

That's not that important but it's news so-

News #3,I got tested for things,so I now know I have Depression,ADHD,Social Anxiety,Reg Anxiety,and that's it.

That's one of the reasons I haven't been posting.Been suffering from depression and things...(I'll explain it in a later chapter)
