Chapter 4 - A Shy Admirer

"Big Macintosh,you've been more distracted than Rainbow Dash trying to do one thing at once."I said.Big Macintosh didn't say anything.
"Are you even listening to me!?"I yelled.
"Eeyup."Was all he said.I rolled my eyes as I grabbed the buckets and started to walk back to the barn.Big Macintosh grabbed his and started to catch up to me.
"AJ,can I ask you something?"He asked.
"Sure.What'd ya need?"I replied.
"Do....you...know...what Fluttershy likes in stallions?"
"Why you need to know?I think she likes stallions that don't mind cuddling,and if they don't have a problem with animals,they should be fine.Why did you need to know this again,sugar cube?"I asked.I wondered why my brother was asking this anyways.
"I....was just asking...."Was all he said.
"Is there something goin' on that ya'll know about?"I asked looking at my brother.
"Nope."
"Then why did you ask what Fluttershy likes in stallions?"
"I want this to be between you and me....I like Fluttershy."Big Macintosh mumbled,a blush spreading across his face.
"Wait...I thought you liked Marble Pie.First Cheerilee,then Marble Pie,now Fluttershy!?How many ponies do you like?!"I asked kinda yelling.I was confused,very confused.
"1 mare,and that mare's Fluttershy.Look AJ,please don't tell anyone I said this,ok?"
"Ugh,fine.I won't.But why don't ya'll ask her out on a date."
"I'm afraid she'll say no.Besides,your not the best mare to get dating advice from."Big Macintosh said.I rolled my eyes again and I got back to work.
How can I help Big Mac get with Fluttershy if I don't even know what datin' is like?

"Who likes Fluttershy?!"Rarity yelled."Sweet Celestia it's about time she gets a coltfriend!"
"Same with ya'll.Now quiet down,Every pony in Ponyville is goin' to hear you."
"Sorry.But who likes her.Is he cute?Whats his name?"Rarity said fan-mareing.
"His name is My.Brother.Big Macintosh likes Fluttershy,Celestia knows why!"
"Big Macintosh!?Thats the last pony I would expect to like Fluttershy."
"I know right.He needs dating advice,badly.So does AppleBloom.She keeps talking about some stallion.Its like a rooster calling 24/7."
"Speaking of AppleBloom,Sweetie Belle is on a date this afternoon with Button Mash.Strange she's getting a coltfriend before me.Also Diamond Tiara/Cupid is sending me on a meet and greet thing with some stallion."
"Really?Wow,ya'll life has been active.Anyways,y'all know what good datin' advice I can give to Big Mac?"
"Well,you have to start to get to know her well,don't go strait into asking her out.After that,I recommend asking more about her...personal life.If you know her well,she should let you know.After you know more about her,like if she's single and doesn't have a romantic interest in another stallion,you should ask her out on a small date,nothing too big,like going to the movies.Now tell this to Big Macintosh,cause this is important.Do.Not.Kiss.Her.On.The.First.Date.It makes you look desperate.Besides that romance should be on your way,so that's all you really need to know.You can also use this advice Applejack."
"Why would I need to use it?"
"Because AJ,you need to find a stallion for you sometime."
"Look,I'm not interested in romance right now.Thanks for the advice!"I said as I walked out of the shop.I mean,who needs a stallion anyways?I need to work more than romance right now.

"I told you not to tell anyone about it,and what do you do,you tell Rarity!"Big Macintosh yelled.
"I was only tryin' to help,at least I got ya'll some advice from an expert."I said.
"Well,you make a point.When should I tell Fluttershy?"
"You should tell her now!Besides,I have to deal with AppleBloom's boy trouble."
"Oh,well,ok.I'll let you know how it went."Big Mac said as he walked off.I sighed and went back to work.
"Hey AppleJack!"I hear a voice call.I turn my head and saw a stallion walking up to me.
"Caramel?What'd ya'll doing here?"
"Well,I saw Big Mac run off somewhere,and he looked like he was in a hurry.I don't see AppleBloom anywhere so I thought I could help you."
"Are you calling me weak?"
"I-I mean,n-no.I-I was j-jus-"
"It's ok,Caramel,I was only joking."I said as I laughed."C'mon then,don't just sit there,help me carry these apples back to the barn."
