Heading into town Shannon intertwined his fingers around mine. Smiling to myself I leaned against his broad shoulders, the smile never leaving my face. It was good to get a few days off in the states. Everyone was doing their own little thing for the past few days and everyone was in agreement that the days off were worth it, everyone was sad that this was the last day we had on a break before we had to go and start touring again. Each couple were taking it to do their own last minute thing with their partners. Tomo and Vicki were going to lunch and then chilling at the park and then doing a little shopping. Jared had cheered right up these last few days; his long Time girlfriend Tyler had left or a few days but was now back by his side. Tyler was the type of girl to laugh in any situation, we were so close and we both shared our obsession with supernatural. We could spend hours talking about it and trying to work out what we thought would happen next. We tried to spend any alone time away from the guys catching up on episodes we may have missed much to the disapproval of Shannon and Jared. Thinking of Jared and Tyler brought a smile to my face just thinking about her and Jared's relationship. They were perfect, Jared was slightly taller than her and they shared the same length in hair. Her eyes were the opposite colour to Jared's a beautiful greenish colour they complemented Jared's blue. Smiling to myself in my own little world Shannon pulled me to sit on a bench.
"You look so beautiful when you’re thinking" Shannon said as he swiped his finger along my knuckles repetitively.
"I was just thinking about Jared and Tyler" I replied as I looked at Shannon.
"So you weren't thinking about me" Shannon said as he leaned over and rested his nose against my cheek.
Smiling I turned my face so our noses touched each other's. Smiling from ear to ear Shannon's breath tickled my face. Leaning against his face I left a soft peck on his lips. Pulling back slightly he wiped his tongue along his lips. Looking at the small freckle on his lips I can't help but smile. Nothing could beat this moment in the middle of a crowded park hearing small children screaming with excitement, parents yelling after them telling them not to go too far. A hustle of mixed conversations from strangers as they all walked past. I felt like I was in a bubble with Shannon. I could hear everything that was going on around us but nothing could take away from this simple moment with Shannon. Breaking away from Shannon I looked deep down into his hazel eyes I could see the slight sparkle in them. Breaking from our little moment when a ball rolled over and hit Shannon in the legs. Bending down he picked it up and gave it back to the over apologetic young boy. Smiling I couldn't help feel the flutter in my stomach as Shannon chatted with the boy at ease telling him that it was perfectly ok and that he had a good kick. All the broodiness came from nowhere. I couldn’t wait until I could be a mum and I knew I wanted to have a child with Shannon but I knew the time was not right in our current living conditions touring the world. I was on contraception as it was easier when traveling and being in a relationship but the thought still struck me that one day Shannon and I will have a child together. Breaking from my thoughts once again as Shannon stood up and offered me his hand. Grabbing it I stood up and wrapped my hand around Shannon's interlacing our fingers once again. As we took a stroll along the park, I was caught up in all the people who were around enjoying different activities during the day. The park looked beautiful with the autumn leaves beginning to fall and the crisp on the air. Seeing ducks waddling around made me smile brighter and snuggle closer to Shannon as I felt the breeze build up, shivering slightly I wrapped my arms around Shannon's waist.
"We better get back, it's getting cold. I don't want you getting sick" Shannon said as he kissed the top of my head.
Walking the short distance back to the hotel, we walked up to our room. Once inside I grabbed the thickest jumper I had I threw it on and pulled on a pair of sweat pants. Feeling myself warm slightly I ran over and jumped on the bed. Going under the covers I pulled them up so they could rest under my chin. Smiling to myself as Shannon's was still standing in his jeans and t-shirt.
"Come cuddle with me, I'm cold" I said as I lifted my arms up ready to embrace him. Shannon walked the small distance. Kicked off his shoes and climbed in, pulling the covers back up and tucking them in. I couldn't help the smile that formed on my lips. Shannon came closer and put his face in the crook of my neck. Turning my head I kissed his hair smelling his shower gel and aftershave. He smelt so good. Shuffling down in bed I rested my head on his chest listening to his breathing. It was comforting lying here like this with Shannon. I felt my body relax against Shannon as his breathing slowed down. Drifting off to sleep after a period of time we were alerted by his phone going off. Groaning Shannon lifted the covers and went to get his phone that was resting on the table beside the door.
"Hello... Oh hi J...yeah sure...see you in 10mins...ok...bye" Shannon said before hanging up.
"What did he want" I asked with my head under the covers.
"We have to start heading unfortunately" he replied as he started gathering various items and dumping them back into his suitcase. Groaning I rolled over and leaned up on one elbow.
"Come cuddle with me for 5 mins" I asked as I saw Shannon picking things up and tidying the room.
"Baby, we've got to go. You know I would love too, but I can't be bothered listening to Jared moan!" Shannon said as he threw in more clothing.
"Please" I said as looked at his back.
"After I have done putting everything away, if we have time, if not we can on the bus and I'll make us hot chocolate and we can snuggle over a movie. Which you can pick, within reason “Shannon said as he started putting my belongings into the suitcase.
"That sounds perfect, I'm holding you too that" I said as I pulled the covers over my face again
"Move your butt" Shannon said as he threw a hair brush at me.
"I'm up I'm up. Plus I need to change again.” Stripping the sweat pants off I folded them and put them into the case. Leaning down I pulled out a pair of skinny jeans, thick woolly socks and my converse. As I was bent over Shannon playfully slapped my bum on his way past to the bathroom.
"Hey!" I yelled as I threw a piece of clothing at him.
"Missed me, missed me, you want to kiss me" Shannon said as he made kissy faces.
"Not with that look on your face. That is not attractive" I lied, trying to keep a straight face. Pulling my socks and jeans on I sat on the edge of the bed as I fastened my shoes. Shannon walked back out from the bathroom and started putting the various beauty products in our cases. Once he was done his eyes swept over the room to see if he missed anything. Smiling to himself he bent down and zipped the two cases closed. Standing up Shannon ran and jumped on me straddling my hips. Taking his hands he placed them on either side of my ribs and started tickling me. He knew that was my weak spot. Wigging underneath him I couldn't breathe for laughing to hard
"Shannon...I...can't....breathe..." I struggled between giggles. Leaning down Shannon kissed my nose before getting up. Lying there trying to breath normal again, I couldn't help my head from spinning. These last few days had been great just hanging with Shannon and having no deadlines to come in our way. Things were about to change now we were back on the road and I would miss these simple times. Although Shannon had promised me a night together watching movies, and I was looking forward to it hopefully we can do this once the tour is in full swing.
