We had agreed to two months apart before I would meet up with the band. The new teacher was on her way, well we all thought. The new member of staff that was supposed to start had gotten sick and couldn't make the journey we had to phone in a back up but they couldn't come out until two almost three months after the tour had started.
Shannon wasn't pleased with this but I couldn't leave without a replacement being there. I agreed to meet up with them in the UK as soon as I could and left it at that. Constance was going to be flying to the UK to visit the boys and some old family friends of hers. When she came to me a few days ago saying she was going to meet up with the boys in the UK and asked if I wanted to come I all but jumped at the offer. The replacement had been in my class for a few days and I was showing her how everything worked in my class I spoke to the head teacher to see if I could leave, she said yes of course and I was finally able to leave and meet up with the band. Two and a half months later a total of 12 weeks I was finally able to make it.
The Long plane journey was a nightmare. I tried to sleep as best as I could but every time I closed my eyes I couldn't help but see Shannon's face smiling down on me. Looking over to my right I seen Constance sound asleep like a baby. I was on edge through out most of the plane ride, what made me more on edge was the fact Shannon didn't know I was coming earlier than expected we left that part out. Emma and Jared where the only ones who knew about my awaiting arrival. Finally dosing off it made the journey a lot easier, I woke with a start when Constance told me to put my seat belt on as we were about to land. As I clipped my belt together I couldn't help the butterfly's that were beginning to flutter in my stomach. it have been almost three months since I seen him. Constance looked over and squeezed my hand comforting me slightly.
"Not long now" she said simply as she smiled.
After we landed we grabbed our belongings and started to make it from our gate into the busy airport.
"Emma's waiting outside with a car and the boys are still at the venue" Constance explained as we trailed through the airport
I let out a sigh of relief as I seen Constance was right, Emma was alone with a huge smile on her face. Emma engulfed us into a bear hug before stepping back.
"Shannon is going to be so surprised to see you, he kept asking if you were tagging along, I lied and said you couldn't make it. You should have seen the hurt in his face! it was heart breaking. Although he was looking forward to seeing his mother he has been getting more and more grumpy as the days have gone on. It will make a difference to him you being here and all if us, he may get off our backs a little" Emma joked as she pulled Constance's luggage out into the awaiting car.
Once we had made it to the venture the butterfly's in my stomach were doing all kinds if flips and tricks. Walking into the main arena I saw Shannon barking orders at the poor crew members!
"No you idiot it's got to go left!...NO LEFT....LEFT!... FOR THE LOVE OF GOD LEFT!"
Smiling to myself I slowly crept up behind him before wrapping my arms around his waist and whispering into his ear.
"Did you miss me!" I felt Shannon freeze under my touch
Shannon slowly turned around in my arms and looked at me with complete shock. Before I knew what was happening Shannon clashed his lips to mine in a forceful kiss. Running his tongue along the crease of my lips I opened my mouth to grant him access. Lifting me up into his embrace I wrapped my legs around his waist as my hands tangled into his short hair.
'You cut your hair?' I said as I broke the kiss and leaned back
'yeah it was getting on my nerves' Shannon explained before capturing his lips with mine again. We stayed like that for what seemed like forever until a small cough sounded in the large room making Shannon and I break apart. Constance was standing in front of us with Jared's arms lazily wrapped around her shoulders
