He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled my abdomen to his. I pressed my teary cheek to his chest as he rocked my back and forth. He ran his hand through my hair and I twisted so that I could put my hands around his neck. Our eyes met and it felt as if they were pulling me in and I couldn't look away. I didn't want to look away. We leaned in closer and I closed in the kiss. His hand tenderly moved from my hair to my cheek. He uses his hand to pull my face closer, and I tighten my arms around his neck, deepening the kiss.
We pull away, out of breath. "My god I missed that..." Said Ben. "It feels like it's been forever since we kissed." "I know Benjamin..." I say and wrap my arms tightly around him him, burying my face in his shirt. He smells good. Does that sound creepy? I think that sounds creepy. I don't really care. I smile into his shirt, and he returns the hug. It feels nice. "By the way Margret, Renee is a terrible kisser." I laugh, unable to be mad, though I know I should be. He lifts my chin to kiss me again...
"I hate to break up this love fest you two, but I think I see something approaching." My mom states, walking right through the middle of us. "Remember to leave room for the holy spirit." I roll my eyes and Ben laughs. "But seriously, something is coming." I follow my mom to the door/window. Sure enough, a masked man is slinking towards us. Even with the mask, I an almost see a devilish grin on his face. "He can't get in here... right? Right??" I stammer. "Look at his hand." My mom replies, defeated. I look down at his hand, and I see a large, metal, baseball bat. I gasp and a shudder runs down my spine. "Guess they're smarter than we thought... Maybe he won't notice us if we stay still" Ben mutters. We all freeze in both fear and hopefulness. The man then stops and right looks at us, the black pits in the mask staring into our souls. He did notice us.
"EVERYONE INTO THE BACK ROOM NOW! GO GO GO!" My mom shouts, gaining control of her senses first. We scramble towards the back of the room, and the masked man slithers towards us just as quickly. We are about three steps from the metal door before we hear the first crash against the window. Suddenly my mom shouts and I hear a slam on the ground. I turn and Ben grabs my arm. My mom is laying on the ground, gripping her leg. She must have tripped! Fear lashes through my body. "MOM!" I yelp! "Keep going Mar! Ben! I can't move now!... It's too late! Just... go! I will fight if I... can! It's not worth trying to save me..." We look at each other for one more moment, a quick exchange of love, before I am reluctantly pulled into the room. I hear the glass smash, as the door shuts and locks. I hear my mom start to speak, but is muffled quickly. There is the sound of dragging and scratching, then... nothing. It all hits me at once. I begin to cry, sobbing harder then I ever had. "She... S-she's gone..." I sob. I won't see her ever again. She was the woman that meant the most to me. Ben grips me tight, rocking me back and forth, comforting me, but it does nothing...
