"Get me another drink, Thalia," I ignored Andy. He pouted.

"C'mon, Mace, talk to me," Andy protested.

"What is it this time?" Thalia shot Andy a look. "This is Ivory. What's this idea of Mason?"

"Cherry Slush," I replied, and rolled my eyes to Thalia. "Forget it. He saw 'Mason' bra less in school."

"Oh my god," Thalia threw ice at Andy. "What the hell, you pervert!"

"Hey!" Andy nearly choked on the ice shot into his mouth. "I had suspicions, but you're the one who's bind just ripped."

"Excuse me?" I whipped my head towards him. "I went into the shed because my wig was falling off, and you just cornered me, and I was just shocked. I can't possibly just kick and fly my way out of there. You backed me up, and then my shirt ripped along with my bind, and then I had to run out in trash clothes, and I had to lie to the secretary, and then I had to meet up with you people, and I had to deal with you and Isabel, and then I went home, and I find that -" My voice broke. Thalia quickly gave me my dark red and purple drink and I stared into it, fighting back tears.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Andy poked at me. I tensed, and he kept pushing my buttons. "Aw, cat got your tongue? I have a cat, and I know -"

I grabbed his finger in the midst of his poking and pulled him towards me. "You have no idea what I'm going through. I could kill you and your whole group, along with your stupid, flea-ridden cat, and not bat an eye. Don't even get close to me and leave. If I hear one piece of news that my cover is close to being blown, I will murder you."

My last threat held in the air, like ice. The entire room was silent. I let go, and Andy stepped back. I was serious, and he got the message. "Leave."

Andy opened his mouth, and I felt my anger boiling. I took one of the forks sitting on the table and threw it at him. He ducked at the last second, and the forks embedded itself into a wooden panel behind him. He turned around to see it tightly in the wood.

"Look, Ivory -"

"Leave!"

He turned and ran, scampering like a mouse. I felt my anger cool down before I realized what I did. I slammed my head on the table. "What did I just do?"

"It's been a while," Thalia lifted my head and let it rest on her hand. "You haven't been this angry in awhile."

"I lost my mind," I said somewhat regretfully. "I...forgot."

"Forgot?" Thalia watched me drink my cherry slush. "It's been a year since you killed off one of our punching bags so quickly."

"Sorry," I said quietly.

"Ivory apologizing?" Thalia let my head slam back on the counter. I rubbed it and winced. "That's low."

"It's not low," I answered. "It's a natural human emotion."

"Maybe it is," Thalia crossed her arms. "Not from you, though."

I sighed and finished my drink.

"We'll go to my house afterwards," Thalia wiped the counter and sighed. "My shift's going to end in an hour, so go chill."

"No," My voice was muffled. "I'll wait here."

"No way," Thalia made an X with her arms. I lifted my head.

"Why not?"

"You're scaring all the customers away!" Thalia pointed a couple of people standing not too far away. They flinched when she pointed at them. "They want a simple drink and you're like a freaking fire burning them."

"No I'm not," I stuck my lower lip out.

"Ivory."

"Fine, fine," I got up and went to an empty table. I turned to Thalia and looked at her expectantly. She looked at the possible customers and looked back to me, gesturing me to go farther. I sighed and got up, walking to another spot. I rested my head against the glass and closed my eyes, unknowingly slipping into sleep.

L O G A N

"Hello?" I asked as I picked up the call.

"Holy crap, she scared me," Andy's voice sounded far away. "She actually scared the sh*t out of me." Andy let out a sigh.

"Andy?" I checked the phone screen. It was Andy. "Hello?"

"I need to get some sushi," Andy said. Who's 'she'?

"What the hell?" I asked. "Did he butt-dial me? And sushi of all things." I groaned. "Look, Andy -"

"I wonder if Ivory's going through something."

Andy's thoughtful voice cut through my voice. Ivory? I continued to listen in.

"She seemed pretty upset when I saw her at the Moon Night," Andy sighed again. "She was seriously off her chain." The Moon Night? I thought back to when I tagged along with the guys to visit Ivory. The fight stage club must be called The Moon Night then. I thought for several seconds before Andy cut in again.

"I better call the sushi chef in Chiba," Andy's hand sounded like scuffling for the phone. "Why is my phone calling -"

I quickly hung up. I didn't want Andy to realize that I was listening in. Ivory, the great one who kicked me most of the time, having a hard time? No way. I considered several options for a second, and got up to get my jacket. I pulled it on and left my house. "I'm going out for a second, Grandpa!" A grunt near the living room sufficed as an answer. I slammed the door behind me and hurried to remember where the Moon Night was. I didn't have the exact reason to rush over to the Moon Night, but I was sure that I wanted to see Ivory weak. Not to be a jerk, but to see the almighty fall, just as many would like to see to marvel. I crossed several streets and stopped in front of the dark building. I pushed the door open to see Thalia first, shaking the bottle like a bartender. Was she the bartender? I didn't know. My eyes met Thalia's, and her icy glare flickered to her left, and I could see her cursing herself at the mistake. I followed her look to Ivory, sleeping, with her head on top of her right arm on the table. I walked to her and sat in the seat in front of her. I watched her breathe evenly. I considered flicking her forehead.

For the sake of my health, I decided not to. I glanced back at Thalia. She was busy, trying to fend off a drunk man. I turned back to Ivory and continued watching her. Not in a stalker peeper way - but the kind of trying to analyze her weakness. After a few minutes, she shivered. I automatically swung my jacket over her, covering her shoulders. I watched her some more, and the jacket began to slip. I reached over to tuck it back onto her, and -

TRIPPED.

I tripped over the chair, propelling myself forward directly towards Ivory. She eyes flitted open, and widened in surprise as my face got closer and closer to hers.

Until -

My eyes widened in surprise. We were both on the floor, all eyes on us, our faces literally centimeters apart. I held my breath and time seemed to freeze as one thought passed my mind.

Oh crap.
