"I'm nothing like you," I spit as I kick him again. How long until his stamina runs out? Mine won't last much longer. With a pop I look over to the forest, a yellow firework goes off, the queen must have used a flare. I turn back as his knuckles collide with my cheek.
"But you are, you are like me. Your one of the 100%s."
He wraps one of his large hands around my throat, lifting me off the ground with ease.
"Two of a kind we are, the only ones who could genetically adapt 100% to the serum, you know why?" I struggle to breath. He leans in close to me. "Cause your my sister," my eyes widen, he laughs and throws me back. I fly threw the air a solid six second before I hear a defining crack and I slide down the tree. I hear his laugh as he re enters the facility. My spine isn't broken thankfully I can tell that much. I stand up, everything hurts. I slowly walk into the forest, trying to find where the flare was set off from. I wonder until my eyes get heavier, and heavier. I find a tall tree and force myself to climb, I won't be this sore in the morning. I lay down on a large branch near the top, no one could see me in the thickness of the pine. I never noticed the cold until now, or slight changing in the leaves. It must be end of summer early fall. I close my eyes and the blackness of my eyelids fades to red, I'm back in that restaurant place. But its dark out and the place looks closed. I'm singing and dancing to music, until it stops.
"Mind if I watch?" I turn, it's him, that same fire monster. What is it with him? It's always him.
I take his hand and the music starts back up, we dance together as the song plays. I turn off my phone and his arms snake around my waist. I look at his handsome features and kiss him hard, he lifts me out and pushes me against the wall making the kiss deeper and deeper. I push him back a little and pull off my shirt, he kisses me again. The wall behind me disappears and we fall back only to land on a king sized bed with a dark wood frame and wine red sheets. Our clothes dissolve away until it's just his skin on mine, us together.

My eyes suddenly pop open and I'm back on my branch, I feel way less sore and carefully hop down. I see some talk buildings in then distance, a city? I start off slow but the forest makes me want to run, I run and I don't stop, it's like the forest is egging me on. I see the backs of the buildings and am stopped in my tracks, this really is a war scene. It's like a ghost town, no one to be scene it's like an apocalypse. The windows are broken and cars are wrecked. I walk along the deserted streets, I find a rather large mall and step inside. There a few bodies of both monsters and humans and I try to avoid looking at them. I gather supplies but it's mostly all been raided. I change into a black sports bra and red hoodie, I grab a large duffle bag and fill it with water, food, clothes, I see an electronics store, not touched. Understandable without power but humans are fucktards so they didn't even thing to look. I see a crowbar near the shattered glass of another shop window. I pick it up and throw it at the window from a safe distance. The window shatters with a huge crash. I step inside and quickly grab some stuff before I run. Don't want to hang around in case someone wants to investigate the loud noise. I move to a hunting store, I grab a knife off the wall but all the guns are gone. I walk to the back room and check, and I see it, who the fuck would leave this behind?
