Chapter 5

Josh's P.O.V

As Jena spins the bottle it lands on Sam. "Truth or Dare Claflin?" he hesitates, but says "Truth." "I dare you to go to Francis' trailer and steal all of the scripts." "Piece of cake. I'll be back.", After Sam leaves Jen's trailer we wait for him to get back, when he bust through the door. "Guys! I was leaving the trailer when he saw me and asked me what I was doing and I ran so fast!" he says between gasps for air.

Then we all started cracking up. "Alright my turn." He says with this creepy grin. He spins the bottle and it lands on me. Dammit. "I dare you to stand in a closet with Jen for 3 minutes.", All I can think is 'what is he up to'. "Fine." me and Jen say at the same time. I love when we do that it's so cute.

Jen's P.O.V

Me and Josh walk into the closet. It's so small I have to press up against Josh. Then we hear a lock click. Shit! "Jena! Sam! Why did you lock the fucking door!" I scream. Josh pounds on the wall behind me. "Bam!" The trailer door closed.

Then I hear Sam faintly say "Have fun!" I face palm myself. We really fell for that. "Fuck!" I shout. "It's ok Jen..." he says calmly wrapping his big strong hands around my waist. "At least we're here together.", I take a deep breath and relax back into Josh.

I must've fell asleep, because when I wake up Josh is carrying me somewhere. Where is he taking me? I would ask him bit he looks preoccupied so I pretend I'm still sleep. He lays me in his car. We had to be in that closet all night because when I look up out the window I can see the late December sun rising. It seems like we're driving for hours.

We finally come to a stop at this park I've never seen. Josh starts whistling this beautiful song. He carries be bridal style to the grassy area. He lays me on this blanket, when I peek out my eyes I can see Jena and Sam giving him thumbs up. Then we're alone again.

It's quite cold out here. Josh must've seen my goosebumps because he wraps me in a warm blanket and lays my head on his chest. He looks like he's in deep thought. So, I decide to wake up. I lift my head up and say "Uh Josh where are we."

Still in deep thought he lays my head back down and says "Doesn't the sunrise remind you of true love.  When everything looks dark a light comes from the distance and before you know it that light is everywhere you look and you can't wait to feel it's warmth tomorrow. And even though there will always be dark, light will always follow right behind it."

He tightens his jaw, like he's said the wrong way. I decide to speak up. "That's beautiful Josh. You always know what to say to brighten my day. And since you're my sun I guess you'll be with me forever."

Josh's P.O.V

"That's the thing." I stand up and reach into my pocket. I've been waiting for this day ever since I saw her in that hot pink dress at that after party. She always argues it was white, but I couldn't have forgotten the first day I met her. Because that's the day I started living. I take the box out of my pocket.

"Jennifer Lawrence you are the most amazing, most beautiful, charismatic, hilarious person I know and I was wondering if I could have the honors of calling you my girlfriend." I take a deep breath and wait for an answer. "I was wondering how long it would take you to ask me Hutch." she says walking towards me, "I would love to."

I take the diamond necklace out the case and put it on her. "It's beautiful Josh!" "Well you deserve the world + more but this is all I could afford." She giggles and kisses me. We stay on the grass the whole day. Eating from the picnic basket Josh bought and snuggling.
