I get going to my next class. Heard that Professor Tucker was pretty strict. Class passed by quickly. Lunch was uneventful, just chatted with Miwa-kun and Sawada-kun before heading back to class. By the end of the day, I was feeling somewhat exhausted.

I plopped onto my bed after classes and laid there for a bit. Mildly dosing off until I hear a thump. Where did that sound come from? I open my eyes to see a set of eyes peering in from the window.

What is that? It looked as if a dog and a dragon was mashed into one creature. Small and not intimidating. Outside was brewing up a storm. I let the poor thing inside, wanting to help.

"Hello there little fella. I'll go grab a towel for you." Seeing his shivering and short breaths of air.

The creature in question was about the size of my head, but slightly smaller and had blue fur. I grab a spare towel in attempt to warm up the furry creature.

Ah, the fur is so soft. It spread it small wings to stretch. It started to curl up in my lap.

"What's your name, little guy?" I ask. It cocks its head up and let out a sound.

"Do you have one?" It shook its head.

"Hmm... how about, Wingal?" The small creature perked up with excitement. I discard the towel I used to dry Wingal in the laundry hoop. The little guy jumped onto my head, where it rested. I chuckle.

I proceed to open up my handbook and press the expand icon. The screen expanded to the size of a tablet. I decide to then do some early studying on the history of magic. After all, it was interesting to see how magic played a part in the past.

Just as soon as I was about to finish the second chapter, I received a reminder on the handbook. It was supper time. I slip on my cloak and get ready to head down when I remember something.

Is it even allowed to have a pet? I take Wingal from on my head and hold him. I couldn't bring myself to leave the poor guy all alone in the dorms.

"Wingal. I really want you to not be alone, so I'm bringing you with me. But I need you to not make any loud sounds ok? I'll put you in my hood. Let's get dinner."

Wingal nods its head. I run my fingers through it's fur once more before placing him in my hood.

We head for the dinning hall and was greeted by Miwa-kun along the way.

A/N: Ok, I know. This chapter was short and nothing really happened. Just trying to build up the story slowly in the beginning before I can get to the exciting stuff. Be sure to Vote and Comment! :3
