Chapter 9: Blue

A/N: tbh. Dont really know 100% how this story is gonna turn out. Kinda just writing it as I go with a specific ending in mind. So.... yeah. Bear with me. Oh yeah. And NEW COVER WOOO!

I met up with Miwa-kun and we grabbed two sets in the back.

"Man, Professor Forsav was rough. Like, thats the strictest teacher I've met." Miwa-kun cried out, slumping onto the table.

"But I thought that you said that about Professor McGregory?" I asked.

"Yeaaaaah. But Forsav is really something. Like a real life devil."

"Oh, he can't be that bad."

"No! He is! Ahh... I wish I could have had Tucker instead."

I gave a weak smile. "Well, I guess you will just have to endure it."

"Yeah..." Miwa-kun gave a long sigh and we begun to dig into our food.

Wingal perks up slightly in my hood when he smelled the scent of fresh food. I tried to calm him.

"Shhhh.... wingal. I'll get you some food. Please stay quiet for a bit?" I whispered to the creature. I pet it's small head and fed it some food. Mainly parts of my sandwich.

"Hey. Aichi, what are you doing?"

"Oh right. I forgot to tell you. I found this little guy shivering outside my window."

"Are you going to take care of it?"

"Yeah. I feel bad leaving him alone. It looks like he's slightly weak from the cold as well."

"But do you know how to care for it?"

"Not really however, we could always just visit the library and borrow some books."

"Yeah. I'll help you out!" Miwa-kun replied with excitement.

"Sooooo.... have you gave it a name yet?"

"Yeah. I named him Wingal. Because I thought it sounded nice."

"Aw, I wanted to name him. Hmmm... I guess it does suit him though. But, you might want to tell Kai about it. You ARE roommates after all."

"Oh yeah. I kinda forgot that I'll need to tell Kai-kun.... can you help me? I don't know him as well, maybe you can help?" I start to ponder up a way to convince Kai-kun to agree to Wingal.

"I think Kai probably won't take much convincing. He loves animals actually."

"Really? That's kind of cute."

"Yeah. He acts all tough on the outside but when you get to know the guy. He's a big softy." Miwa-kun chucked.

The bell sounded, ending our breakfast.

Miwa and I parted ways for our morning classes. I took the closest magic circle to the floor below, where I spot Sawada-san in the corner of the classroom, being what I guessed, bullied by a group of classmates. I just couldn't stand the sight of someone being picked on right before my eyes. Impulsively, I ran over and yelled at the rowdy crowd to stop. There was an awful glare in their eyes as they turned their attention to me.

"Well, well, well. Someone is going to try to save Dame-Tsuna huh? Are you his friend? Of course not, why would someone want to befriend such a failure anyways?" The leader chuckled.

"YES! I am his friend, so I would like to ask you to please leave him alone." I shout with resolve. No way am I going to have my friend, be bullied by our peers.

"Or what? Are you going to fight us? You are going to get beaten to pieces." He motioned with his fists.

"Oooor... you can ignore any of this happening. If you value your life." He continued to threaten me. The people around him started to laugh with him. Whispers passed along.

Determined to save Sawada-san, I tried to stall till the teacher arrives. I know that if I decided to fight them head on, I would surely lose however, once the teacher comes, he will know how to deal with the bullies.

"I can't just stand and watch my friend turn black and blue from bruises!"

"Oh? Is that so? Hehe. Guess this is gonna be REAL easy." He made his way closer to be. Small sparks start to grow from his palms.

I throw my arms up to cover my face, bracing for the hits. Then a loud SLAM was heard. Wondering why nothing had happened, I slowly look up to see the student being restrains by magic.

"What nonsense is going on here?!" Shouted the professor harshly. He glared at the bully and then at Sawada-san and I, then back.

Sweat drops from the bully's face in embarrassment. He shrugs it off quickly. "Um... so you see. We were just, you know... fooling around. Yeah thats it! We were just having fun." He tries to cover up his actions.

"Everyone, to your seats!"

Sawada-san and I quickly scrambled to our seats, taking out our books.
