Chapter 5: Kai-kun is my roommate?!!

A/N: Got a new laptop! Gonna hopefully update more if im not too lazy or busy to do so.

Ah, what is Kai-kun doing here?
"Um...Kai-kun? What are you doing here?"

"I'm your roommate. Didn't you see the name plate on the door?"

I open the door and glance at the metal plate under the room number. It wrote 'Sendou Aichi and Kai Toshiki'

"Ah. I see. Well, hope you take care of me." I bow my head.

"Just don't bother me."

A cold silence drowns on, making the situation more awkward then before. I pull my suitcase into the room and quietly look around the room while I unpack.
It's a rather large room with two desks on either side, two beds on opposite sides of the room, two cabinets near the left wall, a medium sized bathroom, a small square table on the side and a walkout deck to the view of the campus.

I open one of the cabinets and start to put all my clothes in it. I spot a plastic bag with clothes inside it. I tear open the package and see that it is the school uniform.

It was a blue hooded cape with a white shirt underneath and a red tie with one pin on it. There were plain black pants that accompanied the outerwear. There was the academy emblem embroidered onto the back of the cape. There was four sets of the uniform. Two with a long sleeved shirt while the others were short sleeved shirts.

I hang up three sets of the uniform and bring another with me into the bathroom. I slip out of my clothes and put on the uniform. I have a bit of trouble with the tie however. After that, I walk back into my room and grab my student handbook along with my small bag and walk towards the door.

"Um. I guess see you later, Kai-kun."

Kai doesn't answer. He was busy with reading his book. I close the door behind me and stroll along towards the magic sign that I now know is a teleportation site.

I let it warp me to the center of the academy, where it branches off into 6 dorms. Walking around and checking the digital map, I finally arrive at the water fountain where Miwa-kun stood standing by the side. He was wearing the same uniform however, the only difference was the tie. The tie around his neck was a silver color.

"Aichi! Yo, nice to see you here! Ah, I feel like I've been waiting for forever. Just kidding, I just got here two minutes ago."

I chuckle and seat myself next to Miwa-kun and bring out my student handbook.

"Ah! I have Professor Aph for my third class as well! We'll partner up!"

"Sounds like fun!"

"So, Aichi? What are you going to be the most excited about? The food? The Center? The classes? Learning spells? The school events? I'm pretty hyped up about school events. I heard that each dorm is going to have a competition!"

"I guess I'm just glad to be here. How's your dorm so far?"

"Well, my dorm leader is Milla Sky and he's pretty nice. Our dorm is mostly a silver white color with occational green. You?"

"The dorm's nice and theres lots of books everywhere. It feels pretty warm"
"I guess the only thing I'm going to be careful of is not bothering Kai-kun."

"Wait! Wait a minute! Kai is in your dorm? Is he like nearby your room or---?"

"He's my roommate." I cut off Miwa-kun's question.

"Aichi. Don't worry about Kai too much. He's a nice guy although he often acts pretty cold to everyone. If you have any trouble, feel free to send me a message. My number is XXX-XXX-XXXX. "

"Alright, I'll remember that."

We sit for a while as the wind blows around a couple fallen leaves.

"Hey, do you want to head over to the Center and check out the facilities?"

"Sure."

Miwa grabs my hand and drags me behind him. The gentle breeze is blowing around the campus.

"Miwa-kun. Slow down!"

"Ah, sorry Aichi. I just got too excited. We're finally at a Magic academy and we are also classmates too! Its a shame that we couldn't be in the same dorm thou." Miwa-kun pouts slightly and then breaks out into laughter.

"Silly you. Don't worry. We got time." I smile a large grin, taking in my surroundings and just letting the fact that I am here sink in. This is going to be fun year indeed!

"Hey there Spade. How's the search for Heart going? Any possible candidates yet?"

"Not yet. I will be on the look out starting tomarrow."

"You know what would happen if you fail to find hin right?"

"You don't need to remind me."

"Well! Good luck!"

"Goodbye Ace."
