Many days had passed since the dream about the siblings yet I still thought about them all the time. I had been growing quite fast and not looked about ten years old, it was winter, which I had come to realize as my favorite season, became the cold icy temperature and the beautiful snow that covered the ground made it look like a winter wonderland. I had developed quite the attitude, unlike my sister who stayed an innocent angel, I preferred to be loud and became quite sarcastic, much to the amusement of my family especially Uncle Em. Recently I had been getting stronger and faster so I was just as strong and fast as mom also developed more gifts apparently, after touching mom it got harder and harder to read my mind, then I started hearing voices and it was figured out that, along with the ability to control and create ice and snow, I was also a copycat, meaning that once I come into contact with someone I can copy there gift and turn the ability of and on like a switch. I thought it was pretty cool, and also liked being able to read everyone's mind it was funny, but could be annoying at times, so I was glad I could turn it off and on. The only gift I can't turn off is having ice, but ice is so much a part of me that I would never want to. I wanted to go out more often and explore but dad said I couldn't because I could attack someone, honestly I didn't like humans, I get that I'm part human, but they all seem so selfish, all they do is kill each other and other species for there own selfish reasons. Right now Mom, Ren, and Ren's puppy were all walking around in the snow, well they were walking I was sitting in a tree slightly hidden, completely at ease. Suddenly I felt a presence nearby, looking around I saw a blonde lady staring at Ren as she jumped up to catch a snowflake. The lady looked absolutely horrified, when Ren turned around and saw her she immediately ran to puppy, which I rolled my eyes at. I love my sister to death but her innocence can sometimes bug me. Mom saw the lady and her face held recognition

"Irina" My mother called to the woman, Irina who simply turned and ran. My mother quickly followed, while I jumped from my spot in the tree flipping as I went, I landed perfectly on my feet and smirked slightly as I did so. I caught the attention of Ren and Jake the puppy, so I bowed dramatically making Ren laugh and puppy roll his eyes.

"I'd like to see you try puppy" I said whilst raising an eyebrow a signature smirk gracing my lips, amusement coloring my tone.

As soon as mom came back, she told us we were headed back home, so I jumped in a tree and started gracefully maneuvering through the trees, never once fearing I would fall on the icy branches, I used my power to make ice appear out of thin air as a foot hold long enough for me to cross when necessary. Letting an airy laugh escape my lips as I seemingly danced in the trees coming back home.

When we reached the house I heard many people talking, and doing idle activities. Entering the house I smiled at my family before soundlessly slipping away to go find my stolen blood bags. Even though I was supposed to only drink animal blood I drank blood bags whenever I can, simply because I don't like hurting innocent animals, and their blood tastes like dirt.

After finishing my meal and disposing of the evidence I go to the main room to see Ren playing the piano. Smiling slightly I grab the book that I'm currently reading and plop down on the couch. I'm not even aware of Aunt Alice's entrance until I hear a vase smash, immediately I look into her mind.

I see a line of vampires in come out of the tree line, there all wearing black cloaks, and have the same strange necklace around there neck.

Coming out of the vision I'm quite confused into who the people are until I here Aunt Alice whisper

"The Volturi, their coming for us" she goes on to discuss who's coming but I'm stuck thinking about her first statement, yes I know of the Volturi, dad and grandpa told me about them a while back, there quite fascinating really, terrifying but fascinating.

I zone back in when Grandpa starts to talk about what immortal children are and how that lady from the forest, Irina, told the Volturi that Ren is an immortal child. The conversation continues until it is decided that we would all split up and look for witnesses to testify that Ren and i aren't immortal children and that we are, in fact part human part vampire.

Tomorrow Mom, dad, Ren, Jakey puppy, and I will all be headed to Alaska to ask some people known as the Denali coven to come stand as witnesses.

That night despite all the horrible things that are to come, I dream of laughter and two sets of hauntingly beautiful red eyes.
