Genevieve's POV

"Hurry up I want to explore." I giggled as we walked down the hallways.

"Whatever you say princess." Alec said, his eyes showing clear amusement that made me smile even wider.

When I went to turn down a different hallway I felt Jane pull my hand and I looked at her questionably.

"This way darling there's something we want to show you." Jane said and I smiled while nodding.

"Where are we going?" I asked in impatience.

"Patience darling, close your eyes." Jane smirked and I growled lowly causing the twins smirks to widen.

Complying with a sigh I closed my eyes and felt Alec wrap his arms around my waist as we continued to walk for a few moments before coming to a stop.

"Can I open my eyes." I asked, curiosity seeping threw my voice.

"Not yet." Jane taunted and I growled again but kept my eyes closed as I heard a door creaking open.

"Open then." Alec whispered in my ear, causing an involuntary shiver to roll down my spine.

Cautiously I peeled my eyes open and gasped at what I saw.

The garden was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. Everything was beautiful shades of green, with pops of color here and there. It reminded me so much of home it made me smile at the thought.

"It's beautiful." I whispered breathlessly as I shakily when outside and breathed in the warm air.

As I moved further into the garden I found myself sitting by the small river that ran threw it. Gently I reached my hand out and froze it, watching mesmerizingly as the ice formed.

"Your powers are amazing." Jane whispered and I smiled as I played with the ice, creating crystals with my fingers.

"It's my favorite out of every gift I have. I think it's because it's my own, every other gift I have was meant for someone else but this one is truly my own." I admitted, never taking my eyes of the crystals that formed and disappeared at my command.

After a while of comfortable silence I could hear the garden doors opening and sighed, knowing someone was going to interrupt our peaceful silence.

"Master Aro would like to see you three in the thrown room." A nervous voice stated and I reluctantly turned to see one of the lower guard members standing a few yards away, eyeing my curiously.

The twins saw this and growled protectively, causing the guard to quiver in fear and shirk back. I smirked at his reaction.

"Then we shall go see him." I stated in a monotone voice while getting up slowly.

Immediately the twins were by my side, Alec put his arm comfortably around my waist while Jane simply took my hand, running her fingers soothingly over my knuckles.

We walked to the throne room while I looked around, completely lost.

"I'm going to get so lost in this damn castle, someone should really make a map." I complained and the twins chuckled.

"I'll keep that in mine." Alec said amusedly while looked at me with obvious affection in his eyes.

"But you should know by now that you need only call and we will come for you." Jane stated in a factual tone that made me smile at the sincerity.

"I know." I said with a smile.
