Author's note: this is going to be rather short so no worries! i'll still be uploading like normal, just vented through this chapter.

“Lew, how long?”

“I can't tell Artie…”

The sky was blue, the sea clear and the waves clashing against the bed of rocks were soothing to the ear. The house by the sea was quaint and seemed to have a coupleish glow to it. Lewis seemed to be quite fond of it, as he was close to Arthur.

“Where would you like to go today? By the shops or the city?” Lewis asked as he cuddled into arthur, whose  hair was a huge mess. He shrugged as he kept his arms wrapped around the much taller male.

“Anywhere would be a blast.” He gave a soft, calm kiss on his cheek, which made Lewis blush a little.

Arthur then blinked, seeing Lewis being dangled from a very familiar arm, face, smile. It was Arthur, but wasn't. He could see the pain in Lewis's eyes and the replica’s grip tightened and caused Lewis immense pain. Arthur tried to scream out but couldn't, as if he had no voice. No say in what happened next.

“A-arthur…” Lewis gasped as he slowly turned his gaze from the replica towards the true Arthur.

He gasped and grasped into his own throat. His breathing was harsh and rapid, very irregular. Lewis stirred a bit as he slept, which made Arthur glad that he wasn't loud enough. He covered his mouth, crying softly as he thought of his now missing arm.

“Ar… tie…?” Lew sounded tired but concerned.

“i-im fine, don't worry…” he wiped his now soaked face.

He seemed quite content with falling back asleep but he knew it send him into sobs again if he dared think about it. He heard a soft voice call him over, and he abided by Lewis's request. Lewis felt him shaking, and he could tell that Arthur had another dream.

“It's alright… it was a dream…” Lewis yawned as Arthur nodded and both fell into a soon comfortable sleep.
