' D r e a m '

Luhan came back to his home feeling a bit flustered by himself. Why? Apparently, after what felt like long hours inside that place it seemed like he was just out for about two hours.

"I'm certain that it had really gotten really dark before I went off.." he softly murmured to himself as he settled his bag on the chair near his study desk. "The clock there showed that it was almost 9 o'clock in theevening," he continued before lazily plopping himself down on his bed while staring at the ceiling.

After a while, eventhough it felt weird—he decided to shrug it off before closing his eyes for a few moments to let his eyes rest. However, doing so had him slowly slipping off to his dreamland.

"Han, dear. Dinner is ready."

He heard a soft familiar voice speak up causing him to flutter his eyes only to be greeted by a warm smile by one of the two persons he always wanted to see again. "Mom.." Luhan called out with a longing voice before sitting up, the lady reached a hand out to caress his cheek with a hand resulting to Luhan closing his eyes again as he leaned on his mother's gentle touch who was softly humming before speaking up again, "Did you rest well? Your father is waiting downstairs for you to join us for dinner."

Upon hearing so, Luhan opened his eyes again before nodding as he stood up and following his mother's lead out of his room and down towards the dining room. There his father sat on a chair while wiping his glasses lenses with a small cloth—as he saw that his lovely wife and son had finally came down, he smiled warmly before standing up and greeting Luhan with a hug. "There you are. You sure were sleeping soundly, hm? I tried to wake you up as well but as always it's your mom that gets to have you up." His father mused in a playful tone causing his mother to laugh. "Now now, what about we just eat now?" His mother exclaimed as he clasped her hands together before urging the two to take their seats as she sat down as well.

Moments passed and Luhan was now watching his parents who was out at the back of their house where his mother's garden was located. The couple was sitted on the grass while looking up at the night sky when Luhan finally took a step back to go back inside with a hand slightly covering his left eye. 'Is this how much I'm longing to see them again.. I'm starting to feel pathetic,' he thought to himself before turning around to head back to his room only to face his parents who was standing infront of him now with the same warm smiles on their faces—but this time he wasn't in their home anymore... he was standing on the edge of the cliff with his parents floating midair and out of reach.

"Han.." the couple chorused as they watched their son try and stretch a hand out as if trying to reach them.

"Dad.. I'm sorry.." he mumbled softly.

"Don't apologize, dear." His mother spoke while shaking her head.

"But.. I—It's my fault.."

"No. Don't say that. Don't blame yourself..
We want you to be happy, holding on isn't the best and only option that you may take. We know you're trying but there's still something in you that keeps dwelling in the past." his mother stated with his father nodding in approval.

"You were all I have, Mom.. Dad.. I want to be with you."

But then slowly his parents faded slowly and...

He finally woke up—he was once again greeted by the plain ceiling; he felt the darkness of his room seeming to slowly drown him so almost immediately he sat up before switching his lampshade on. "Mom.. Dad.." his voice cracked as he closed his eyes before bringing a hand up to his face and wiping the evident tears that stained his cheeks before laughing bitterly to himself. "I'm trying to do my best.. Thank you."
