Chapter 1

Hello love!
Just just like any fanfic, there always has to be an introduction of characters. I hate this part because I suck at it and it's very boring, but please just surpass the first 2-3 chapters. I promise it'll get better until I figure out a different way to introduce them.

But anyway I hope you enjoy reading my first fanfic. (I'm also sorry that it sucks)

Chapter 1 : Pabo Makes his Grand Entrance

It was the day before we would be going back
to school from the holiday break. Ugh I'm not prepared to return back to school and start preparing for our midterm exams. I groaned in frustration thinking about trying to out beat the other students for the top marks in the class. I was ranked 3rd and to my surprise my parents were not quit satisfied. They have very high expectations.

"Ya noona it's time to go to sleep." said my younger brother walking inside my room to give me a hug.

"Ok. Go brush your teeth and get into bed, ok?" I said kissing his forehead. He nodded his head and left my room. I shook my head slightly laughing. Ugh my three year old brother is so cute.

I got ready for bed and got under the sheets. I tossed and turned until I found a comfortable spot. Hopefully I won't wake up so many times tonight. I haven't been diagnosed or whatever but I know I have insomnia. On good days I'll wake up 2-3 times. On a bad day I'll wake up multiple times and I'll eventually give up and stay awake for the rest of the night. I'm not really sure why I can't sleep. But it all started when my parents started pressuring me about my grades. But I've gotten over that. I closed my eyes and waited for several minutes until I lost conscienceness and fell asleep.

I was suddenly walking through the school late at night. I was wearing my school uniform and it seemed to be torn on my on my blazer and skirt. I kept walking around and reached the front entrance of the school. I pushed the doors expecting it to open but to my surprise it didn't open. It was locked. I tried opening the other door but it would open either. That's strange. I walked towards the other exit doors but the weren't opening either.

"Psst." I heard someone say. I jumped hitting my back on the door.

"Aish" I said annoyed and rubbing my now pained back.

"Who's there?" I said walking around.

Suddenly at a far distance I saw a glowing light down the hall. I jogged towards it but once I reached the end of the hall, the light had disappeared.

"Yah stop playing tricks on me." I said looking around through the locked classroom doors.

"Psst, catch me if you can." said the deep male voice again. I turned away from the classroom window and saw almost halfway down the hall was a boy in a school uniform like mine except in the male version. He had wings and behind him was an orange pink glow. But I couldn't see his face thanks to my amazing eyesight. I should really start wearing my glasses. But because the bridge of my nose is short, my glasses feel uncomfortable.

"Hey I'm not playing games here alright. Come closer will you?" I said walking towards him.

"Oh come on you're no fun." He said chuckling.

"Do you know a way out?" I said walking towards him still but he seemed to be flapping his wings farther away.

"Hey, who are you? Why are you flying away from me?" I said as I started to run towards him only to end up bumping into wall as he slid through the wall.

I suddenly felt a huge pain my head. I woke up only to find myself actually on the floor. Aish what kind of dream was that I thought.

"Mina are you alright." said my eomma barging into my large room.

"Mhmm." I mumbled while putting a hand to my head.

"You really are clumsy." she said shaking her head walking out of my room.

"Oh by the way, you have 10 minutes to get ready for school or you'll be late" she said.

My eyes widened. I actually didn't wake up once tonight. That's a surprise...I shook my head and quickly got ready. I brushed my teeth and put on my uniform. I ran down the stairs and grabbed an apple while walking towards the driver as he opened the car door for me. I quickly got in and bucked my seat belt. My heart started pound slightly faster...why do I feel like today's going to be a bad day. Why did I feel as if my dream was so vivid? And who was that guy? If only I was able to see his face clearly.

"Miss. Choi Mina, we're here." said my driver snapping me out of my thoughts. I nodded and while grabbing my bag and watching him wait for me to get out. I walked out of the car and he closed the door.

"Have a good day miss." he said while bowing.

I nodded and walked away. I don't know why my mom insists on having a driver. I like walking. It only takes 40minutes to walk home. I walked inside the school to be greeted by friend since kindergarten.

"Mina! Mina! Mina!" She said running towards me.

"What?" I said walking towards her as she practically snatched my arm in her hands.

"Apparently my appa said there's a new transfer coming in today." she said all giddy.

Seol Hyun's father is the principal of this gifted academy. The only way to get in is for talents or smarts. I got in for smarts of course. But there are also students who have big wallets to get in if you know what I mean.

"Oh great another Pabo in the school. We don't need anymore of those." I said teasing her.

She's obsessed with guys. I'm 100% sure there isn't a guy here who's heart she hasn't stolen.

"Oh come on Mina. I need a mature man." she said dragging me to her locker.

"Hahaha and what makes you so sure that he's mature." I said rolling my eyes.

"I don't but we'll see." she said grinning and closing her locker.

We walked towards the same familiar hall where my locker was and we turned a corner when suddenly I was shoved against the wall and fell down, huh well that's familiar.

I felt my blood boil and yelled, " Are you crazy!" without looking at the person.

" mianhe." said a deep voice. He extended a hand to help me get up in which I ignored. I got up flattening my skirt and blazer.

"Omo Mina are you ok?" Came seol Hyun running towards me.

"Yeah I'm alright." I said pissed.

" I'm taehyung, I'm really sorry Mina." he said with a sincere face. If he weren't so good looking I would've just slapped him.

"Yeah, whatever." I said grabbing Seol Hyun's arm and dragging her away from the scene.

"Haha...um Mina?" She said sounding uneasy.

"What." I said looking at her.

"H-he's the new transfer student." She said looking away.

"Oh dear Seol Hyun-ah, you sure know how to pick em." I said laughing.
