Chapter 3: Oppa, please be my date

The next day I arrived at school and made my way towards my locker. I grabbed my textbooks and put them into my bag. I could sudden feel someone's presence. I looked around me and no one was watching me. There were a few people at their lockers and the others were walking through the halls. Hmm that's weird I could have sworn I felt someone-

"BOO!" Said a deep voice and slammed my locker in my face. I literally felt my spirit raise out of my body. I screamed at the top of my lungs while I put a hand on my heart. I looked up to see Taehyung hunched over laughing at my reaction.

"YOU PABO." I said slapping his arm multiple times.

" Mina are you ok?" Said Seol Hyun walking towards us.

"N-no." I said still shaking.

"Oh hi Taehyung." she said acting cute and shy. I just gave her a death glare and started waking away.

How could she be so nice to this good looking annoying pabo. I made my way towards my class and sat down at my usual spot. Our exams were coming up and I haven't even began studying. Hmm I really do need a tutor...maybe I should call the park brothers despite my hatred for them. If I get top grades my father will finally leave me alone.

After a few more classes I made my way towards the cafeteria with Seol Hyun. We got our expensive food in which I have no idea why my father insists we pay for it when I could simply get the maids to make me something. After paying for our food we walked towards our table and sat down.

"Are you annoyed Mina?" She asked staring at my blank expression. I shook my head continued eating. This is my only break and my happy time. No one and I mean one is going to ruin it.

"Oh I see...hey I've got some great news!" She said looking excited. I nodded my head signaling for her to continue while I stuffed my face with food.

"Well you know our dads friend Mr. Park right?" She said making sure. I nodded once again giving her a confused look. What about him, did something good happen?

"He's going to having a huge party to celebrate their success in his company since they launched their new product. I wasn't sure if your appa told you since he wants you to focus on your studies. But from what my appa was telling me, he said your family was going." She said. I began to choke my food slightly when she said we were going. Me and dancing...don't go well together.

"Are you serious." I asked after drinking my water.

"Yeah but I think we should bring dates." She cheerily.

"Yeah I'm gonna go with Si An." I said laughing.

"You can't go with your brother you weirdo!" She said slapping my head. I pouted a little while massaging my head.

"Fine then who do you suggest I go with?" I said groaning.

"How about you go with Taehyung? From what I can see is that you both have an eye for each other." She said before sipping her water.

"You've definitely lost your mind Lee Seol Hyun." I said shaking my head.

"Oh come on how bad can it be?" She said giving me a doggy face. Oh if only you knew...maybe I should tell her.

"That's because well...in order for me to not get one of Mr.Parks sons to tutor me...I told my appa Taehyung would tutor. If I bring Taehyung with me, he'll start to question him and he'll find out about everything." I said while looking at my empty tray.

" Choi Mina...finally something exciting is happening in your life!" She said jumping out of her seat and giving me a big squeeze.

"Hey my life is not that bad." I said a bit butt hurt.
