It was an accident, I swear
Calum didnt realize this terrible double-date night would cost him his license, and potentially his life.
He just wanted to have Faith all to himself. In just a few miles, he will get exactly what he wants: just maybe not the way he planned to.
Calum grips the wheel tightly, filling with rage as he watches Christopher grope Faith in the back seat. It makes him even more mad when he notices that she seems to be enjoying it.
"Calum!" Mackenzie yells as he nearly drives them off the road and sent them down the hill to their deaths.
"Sorry." He mumbles half-heartedly and averts his attention back to the road.
The road is empty tonight at this late hour. No one seems to be awake and driving tonight.
His eyes slowly drift back up to the rear-view mirror. He can not keep his eyes off of the back seat. Christopher grabs Faith's face and kisses her, his free hand on her chest.
This angered Calum immensely. He hates seeing Faith with another guy, especially one that was supposed to be his best friend.
Without thinking, Calum grabs the wheel tighter and turns it sharply to the right. Everyone inside the vehicle screams, except Calum. He knows exactly what he is doing.
The little car rolls over itself several times, its passengers' heads slamming in to the walls of the car with every rotation.
Faith was the only one smart enough to wear her seat belt. Christopher was too busy making Faith swoon to even care about securing himself in the car.
He thinks seat belts are lame and kill the vibe anyways. Well, the lack of one is definitely going to kill something now.
The car stops rolling abruptly as it slams in to the dirt at the bottom of the steep hill.
Silence fills the air in and around the car. Calum briefly wonders if he is dead. Death wouldn't be the worst thing that could happen for him right now after his terrible night.
Calum opens his eyes and takes deep and rapid breaths to make sure he is alive.
Unfortunately for him, he survived the crash.
Calum makes note of a specific smell filling the car. He knows that stench. The chemical is very familiar to him.
Gasoline.
Calum tries to turn his head to see if anyone else is alive. He immediately sees blood pouring out of Mackenzie's head. He reaches over shakily and touches her neck, looking for a pulse.
Calum is pretty sure that he can not feel a heart beat. And judging from the amount of blood coming out of her head, he has to assume that she is dead.
He grabs her shoulder and shakes her. He has to make sure she is dead before he abandons her here.
Though Calum doesn't like Mackenzie, he still never wanted her to die. He wants to say he is sorry for hurting her.
But it looks like it is too late.
Mackenzie is dead.
He peels his fingers away from her and wrestles with the airbag. He needs to get out of the car.
He screams as he yanks his left arm from metal shards sticking out of the frame of his car. Though he is not cut deeply, the pain is unbearable.
He opens the door forcefully and crawls out of the car. He lands on the cold ground and takes a moment to catch his breath.
It is too dark for him to see his injury. He has no time to search for his phone. He needs to see who else has survived.
He yanks Faith's car door open and pulls her out of the car. He lays her on the ground.
She has a pulse. She is alive. Barely.
Christopher groans inside the car. Calum hears him and makes eye contact with him.
Calum watches intently as Christopher pulls himself out of the car and lands in the ground with quite the thud.
Calum runs around the car and kneels beside Christopher.
"What did you do man?" Christopher asks Calum as he looks up and faces him.
Christopher leans himself up against the back tire of the car and holds his stomach. He has three broken ribs. He is in a terrible amount of pain. But he will live.
"I'm going to have you arrested Calum! You crashed us on purpose! Faith's father is a cop and he-" Christopher tries to stand himself up.
"Don't talk about Faith like you know her!" Calum shouts and shoves his hand in his pocket, clutching his pocket knife. He forgot he had it until this moment. Suddenly, the blade is all he can think about.
"You still think she could ever love you, mate? After what you just did to us?" Christopher shakes his head. "She'll hate you forever for this. And I'm going to make sure she knows exactly what you did."
Calum yanks his switchblade out of his pocket and opens the knife end of it.
"What, are you going to stab me with that little thing?" Christopher laughs and stands himself up, leaning against the car for support. "Faith wouldn't like that so much, would she?" Christopher pouts his lower lip as he looks at the enraged look on Calum's face.
Calum lunges forward and stabs Christopher in the stomach. He pulls it out and stabs him again.
One for mocking him.
One for being a jerk.
Numerable for taking Faith from him.
Several for groping her in his back seat.
Ten for making him angry.
Twenty just because he can't stop himself.
Christopher's fate is now longer clear. Claim made sure of that.
An: this is where it starts to get crazy!
