(A/N Hello! And welcome to my amazing one-shots book!! Anyway, I have another story and it is all Percabeth, if you want to go read that. And I take suggestions if you have any one-shots done. And I will shout you out!! So anyway, lets start!!)
Okay guys so this idea was made by my friend, HarrryPotterRulz and I told her that I would make a one-shots book and put it in here as my first chapter. Obviously, this is not how Jason gets his glasses, but let's have some imagination here okay? Cause we both thought this would be super funny. Hopefully it is funny to you guys as well. So obviously, this is just a funny way of how Jason got his glasses, even though this is not how he got his glasses. Okay, lets go!
(A kind of House of Hades spoiler : /)Third Person POV
After defeating Gaea and getting Percy and Annabeth back safely from Tartarus, you'd think everything would be celebration. Well, Jason spent the next day being told that he needed glasses. Piper was confused, she didn't think he needed glasses, seeing as his aim was pretty good. Though, he confessed to her that he was having trouble seeing and aiming in the first place. His sight wasn't terrible, but it got hard. So, instead of directing course to Camp Half-Blood or Camp Jupiter, he told Leo to go to a local LensCrafters. With a giant trireme. Yeah. This was going to work, Jason thought. Yeah right, the back of his mind told him. What could go wrong?
The LensCrafters was located in a strip mall. It wasn't very big, and there were a lot of people around. Being the noncivilized demigods that they were, they decided to just crash right down. Of course, everyone got out of the way quick enough. No one of the demigod group knew what mortals saw when they lowered down to the Earth. Though, they always wondered what it would be like to see what they see.
Jason walked into the LensCrafters, Piper following him. Percy and Annabeth stayed inside Percy's room on the Argo II, coping with their depression from Tartarus. Everyone stayed out of their way. Coach Hedge stayed to "guard" the trireme, claiming that there might still be "death upon the demigods," and that Percy and Annabeth were never ungrounded from Atlanta back with the aquarium. Not that they would have listened to him anyway. Will and Nico, well nobody really knew where they went. They just wandered off. They would get them later. And Frank and Hazel just started to walk around the strip mall, Hazel pointing out that everything they had was so "new" compared to her style. But, she was from a different century, so everything looked new to her. Though, Frank seemed pretty amused with how amazed she was with the recent changes to trends.
Meanwhile, Jason walked up to the counter of the LensCrafters, holding Piper's hand. "Hello Sir, I think I need glasses." Piper squeezed his hand and gave him the look that she gave him when he was being dumb.
"Jason, stop being so blunt and stupid." She scolded him. He frowned. That man at the desk looked at them.
"You need to do the testing first, Sir. How do you know you need glasses?" The man at the front desk eyed him weirdly.
"I can't aim my lightning very well." Not watching his words, he stated to the man.
"What?"
"You didn't hear that." Jason could tell Piper was using charmspeak. It almost made him forget about what he said in the first place.
"I can't see what the teacher writes on the board?" It came out as more of a question. But it sounded stupid, considering he probably looked like he should have had a job by now instead of been in school.
"Hmm. Look a little old to be in school still." He was a very pushy man, in Jason's perspective.
"I was held back." He said. The man still looked at him weirdly. "For like 5 years." He added. He knew he probably sounded super dumb. The man still looked at him weirdly. "Look, just get me tested." He got irritated.
30 minutes later and he was paying for his glasses. Well, all in all at least my friends aren't being annoying, he thought to himself. He turned to see Nico Di Angelo standing in the doorway. Jason was given his glasses a couple of minutes later.
"K can we go to McDonalds now?" Nico questioned.
"Nico, McDonalds is bad for you." His boyfriend, Will Solace, cut in.
Leo then ran into the building. "GUYS COACH HEDGE IS TRYING FIRE THE BALLISTAE AT INNOCENT PEOPLE! HELP ME!"
Nico ran out, Will on his tail. Yelling at him that he can't have McDonalds because it was bad for him.
Remember when I said my friends weren't causing any trouble, Jason thought. Yeah, I take that back as much as Piper took back liking turtles. Then, he ran out.
Will had dragged back Nico, Percy and Annabeth were on deck, as were Hazel and Frank. And all were helping to pull Coach Hedge off the ballistae.
Jason and Piper just bursted out laughing, knowing that this is what they went through almost everyday. This was nothing new. Then, they went to join their friends.
All was good. Until Jason broke his glasses.....
Hello! This will probably be one of the only author's notes at the end of these one-shots. Considering there's not much to say. All I want to say is that if I ever do write and author's note, it's probably important. Or it will be a thank you or telling you to make suggestions. Your suggestions are always welcome!! Also, as I already said, I have a more main story that I'm writing right now. It's called Taken By Force. It's recommended and written by I so yeah! But anyway, I hope you guys like the really random and silly one-shot. Because what better chapter one than something you thought up by yourself somewhat!? Anyway, I'll see you guys later! In the next chapter, or even in Taken By Force! BYE BYE!!!!!!
