Valentines Day

Third Person POV

When it comes to Camp Half-Blood, Valentines Day was a very special day. Everyone always had a Valentine. Whether it was their best friend or boyfriend/girlfriend. Most people that had no one met someone else on this special day. And there was a very special couple on this very special day that everyone liked to celebrate as Camp Half-Blood's "Power Couple."

This couple, was indeed, Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase. I mean for goodness sakes, they went through Tartarus together! Of course people think they're the cutest couple. But most don't know that they don't really like all the attention. As much as they love celebrating their relationship, they still don't want the whole Camp thinking of them as "relationship goals" all night.

This year, Perseus Jackson planned something that would get them out of that attention. It was Annabeth's secret wish away from their friends. It was only something they shared, because they didn't want to make anyone else feel bad. They were talking in their cabin about what they were going to do. Most boyfriends would surprise their girlfriends. But in Percy's situations, they ended up getting attacked by monsters, much to Percy's great surprise. (Note the sarcasm).

So, noticing how things were going in the past, he decided to just talk about things to do on Valentines Day. They were currently talking. But Percy didn't know how to start the conversation.

"Hey, so I don't want to get attacked by monsters this year. Do you want to talk about what to do for Valentines?" He finally decided. Annabeth looked up at him. She moved close as he pulled her onto his lap. She instinctively wrapped her legs around his waist and her arms around his neck.

"I don't know, Percy. Why don't we just leave it off and just not try this time?" He frowned at her response. She seemed so tired. He felt kind of bad.

Percy's POV

I could tell Annabeth was feeling down. She took every chance to get away from all the "Power Couple" bullshit.

"Hey Annabeth. What's wrong?" I looked down at her and she looked up at me.

"I don't know. I'm just not feeling up to all of it this year." I nodded at her response.

"I say we just go out and have a picnic. Later we'll get into pajamas and grab blankets and snacks. We can go to the party they always make us come to and watch all the heart-shaped fireworks go off, maybe fall asleep on the beach. And then wake up and go back to the Poseidon Cabin for the rest of the night."

"I like that." She answered after a minute. She smiled and I grabbed her waist to pull her down. We ended up just cuddling and taking a nap together.

Piper's POV

The fact that I didn't know what Jason was thinking of doing in that mind of his made me go crazy. Was he planning something special, crazy, fun, simple? I never know until the day comes.

"Jason, can't you just tell me what you're planning?" Jason had come to CHB to spend the day with me. Hazel and Frank were coming later. He walked over to me and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"I would, Pipes. Really." He bent his head to plant a slight kiss on my neck and then came back up to whisper in my ear, "But then it wouldn't be much of a surprise."

Jason's POV

The whole thing was, my plan was literally just a picnic and then the fireworks. I didn't want to make it too much this year. Only because we always threw that other party for Percy and Annabeth, and that was all Piper's planning and I didn't want to take too much time.

But, it's always good to know she's on edge because of it. At least this relationship is going somewhere.

Frank's POV

At the moment, Hazel and I were just packing and making sure that everything was good. I was packing and I made sure that Hazel was out of the room. I slipped in a picnic blanket and a necklace for her before she got back in the room. She walked back in and I smiled.

Percy's POV

I walked with Annabeth to where our picnic was to be held. Right by the river. We walked through the forest and found 4 other people there with two different picnics.

"Guys, seriously." I looked at all of them. Jason, Piper, Frank, and Hazel.

"Yeah, yeah. We all thought this was going to be our own alone time, Percy. Just deal with it." Jason told me. I just set down the blanket a couple feet away from both of them and sat down with Annabeth.

After lunch, we went to the beach to see everyone waiting for us. Everyone started cheering. I stood up. Someone passed me a microphone.

"Hey everyone. So, there's something I want to say to you all. This party needs to stop being just about Annabeth and I. We've all been through a lot of stuff together. This is about everyone. Come on, let's celebrate!" Everyone in CHB cheered.

At the end of the day, Annabeth and I watched the fireworks together and snuggled up on the blanket and under blankets. As did all of our friends. But I think Annabeth and I were the only ones that fell asleep on the beach that night.

And I definitely knew for sure, that when we woke up at 3 am and snuck inside the Poseidon Cabin that night, Annabeth and I would last a long, long time afterwards. Annabeth and I, and all of our friends, were long-term.

There you go!!! That is my official Valentines Day one-shot! Posted specifically on Valentines Day. I actually wrote this the day before Valentines Day, because I wanted to get a Valentines Day chapter out on my main book, Taken By Force, which you guys can check out!! (Self-promos likeee) But yeah! I didn't think I was going to have enough time to write two chapters plus do homework and shit. So, I decided on writing this the day before. But anyway, I hope you guys enjoyed this one-shot. It was mostly Percabeth, so I'm sorry about that. But they are my favorite ship so sorry-not-sorry. But yeah, I'll see you guys in the next one-shot. Which will be one by my good friend mentioned in the first chapter! Bye guys!!
