I was a normal day, everything was the same. The only difference was that Sans was catching himself starring at Papyrus a lot more than usual. A thought crept to the back of his mind but he shook it off tuning back to his brother disciplining him again about napping on the job. Papyrus was staring at him expectantly and Sans shrugged his shoulders.
"sure bro," Sans said nonchalantly.
Papyrus' eyebrow bones creased together.
"Sans are you okay?" Papyrus asked placing a hand on Sans' shoulder. Sans froze staring at Papyrus without blinking for a moment before replying.
"y-yeah i'm f-fine," Sans stuttered his heartbeat speeding up.
"Are you sure Sans?" Papyrus asked uncertainly.
"yeah i'm sure paps," Sans said pulling away from Papyrus' touch. Papyrus clenched his fist around nothing then retracted his hand.
"Okay... I'm going to go check on my puzzles!" Papyrus said quickly and turned around walking the other way.
Sans watched Papyrus as he walked away. A second later he coughed. He felt something come out of his mouth and looked at the ground to see a few flower petals scattered.
"what the hell?" Sans whispered.
