"I can't believe you talked me into this. " I complained to my best friend Raven as I came out the bathroom. I walked over to my wall mirror, my black pumps clacking against the wooden floor. I looked at myself. I was feeling myself. My long, dark brown hair flowed down past my shoulders and to my mid back. I wore it completely straight which was something I rarely did.

I fitzed with the hem of my dress. It was a short, black, and the top half was lace revealing parts of my skin and my long legs. My chest was covered my black strapless bra that I bought just for this dress. My ears were pierced with gold pyramid studs, my neck held a short gold chain necklace, and my wrist had a gold chained bangle around it.

"But girl you look cute." Raven complimented me before moving over to the mirror where I was. I looked in the mirror and admired my best friend. She was looking hella pretty. She was dressed in a body hugging, short blue dress that made all her goodies show. In the back of her dress, there was a V cut, revealing her caramel back. Her hair was pulled back into a tight bun. "No girl you look cute." I complimented back. "You definetly gonna get laid if that's what you were aiming for."

"Yas girl!" Raven shouted and threw her arms in the air. "It's been awhile especially since Logan and I broke up." She and I both rolled our eyes at the mention of his name. He was a total ass and annoying as shit.

"So why are going to the club again?" I asked picking up my black, leather clutch from off my bed. I opened it up and began checking to make sure I had my ID and some cash. It woulda been hella bad if I left this.

"Because..." Raven dragged out. "With you always working and ish we don't get to hang out anymore. Now let's go." Raven stood by the door, waving me over. I smiled at her before walking over to her.

Parts of me were excited about going out and the other parts of me were nervous. It's not like I haven't been clubbing before because when I was in college, I use to go every weekend. I was nervous because I was still a virgin and turning guys down to taking me home was hella embarrassing. Especially when they were fine as hell.

AT THE CLUB

"Bruh that bouncer was hella nice." Raven said as we walked over to the bar. I giggled before sitting down next to her on the leather stools.

"What can I get you beautiful ladies?" The bartender asked. He was hella cute. He had a temp fade, earring in both his ears, pearly white teeth and dimples on both cheeks. I would like for him to take me home.

"Two blue margaritas." Raven answered. I reached in my clutch to pay for my own drink but Raven stopped me. "No. I'm paying." She insisted.

I furrowed my eyebrows. "Like hell you are."

She snatched my clutch away from me and shoved it under her arms. "Too bad. I'm paying. I'm use to not paying anyway so one change won't hurt and plus get use to it. What you gonna do when a guy pays for your drink tonight?"

I sighed, giving into Raven's antics. "Don't say nothin' when I buy like twenty drinks." I teased.

"You ladies are something else." The bartender joked.

"We know." Raven and I said in unison with a smile. I snatched my clutch back from Raven after I reluctantly let her pay for the drinks.

The bartender handed us our drinks and we happily took them. We began sipping on our drinks. "Oh my God this is good." I smiled and felt like heaven. It's been a while since I have had a drink.

"Hey..." Raven said nodding her head up. "Guess who is in the club?!" She practically squealed.

"Who?" I asked before taking another sip of my drink. I pushed it off to the side of me.
