Chapter Twelve: A Plan

I stood there not knowing what to say. I kept my head to the ground and kept my mouth zipped.

"Listen, Kel." Quincy said, rushing over to me. He grabbed my hands and lifted my chin, forcing me to look into his beautiful orbs. "I really like you and I can treat you way better than that nigga ever could." He nodded his head towards Colin. I looked back to Colin who was chewing on his bottom lip. Damn. So sexy.

"And I'm your baby daddy, Kelly. I can do more things than him. I make money. What the hell does this joker even do, Kel?"

I looked to Quincy. "A lawyer right?"

Quincy nodded his head slowly. "Yeah that's right. My job will last long"

"And I just signed another contract, Kel, you know this."

I roll my eyes at Colin's comment. "Lawd I just want the both of y'all." I mutter to myself. Why was this so difficult? But I knew who I truly wanted. Eighty is more than twenty right. (80, 20% rule: Two people you like and one has mostly everything you want in a person, so 80% and the other person has only little of what you want 20%. COMMENT IF I EXPLAINED THAT WRONG) I slowly turned to Colin and began walking to him with a smile. I held my head down in defeat.

"See Quincy she chose me." Colin said smugly.

I let out a laugh. "Oh no. I choose Quincy not yo ass." I laughed some more. "I just came up here to slap you for all your ridiculous comments but that's even better." I doubled over in laughter. "I mean you are an utter asshole." I got serious and looked up to Colin. "You...You are truly something else and I don't need to be stressed out with a baby on the way. With your baby, Colin. Need I say it again, Colin?"

He rubbed the back of his head. "Nah, I can hear, Kel. I'm just in love with you...I know that for a fact now." Colin looked me directly in my eyes.

I ran my hand across Colin's face rather hard. "You have no filter do you?" I growled through gritted teeth. I was going to slap him again but he grabbed my wrist, both of them in fact. "I'm being serious. Hearing you say you chose that dick over me just crushed me. I feel like I was just sacked like in a game. I'm not lying Kelly Logan. I love you."

My mouth fell agape, as if I had no idea what to say. But I quickly found it. "Maybe, you should leave." I looked up to him. "It's not that I don't want you in our child's life." I slowly reached for his hand and motioned it towards my slowly developing belly. "Because I do. I get to tell our kids that their dad is the quarterback for the 49ers."

Colin somewhat smiled. "Is it okay if tell my teammates about this?"

I shivered at the mere thought. "Uh I dunno." I answered truthfully. "I don't want the media to find out and I'm dating Quincy." I said nervously.

"Can I at least tell Michael? I can trust him."

I uneasily stared at Colin's and my feet. "I guess." I mumble.

"Cool." Colin was about to bend down to give me a kiss on the forehead but I moved away. I instead, turned away and walked towards Quincy. A sudden thought had popped into my head.

"Hey, Quincy... When did you get in the A?" I asked looking him the eyes.

He rubbed the back of his neck nervously. "Two days ago."

I shifted my mouth across my face. "Why didn't you tell me?" I squeaked. Well we weren't even dating so it doesn't even matter. "Nah it's okay." I shrugged and walked away.

COLIN'S POV

I stood there, watching Kel and that nigga talk. I hated it and couldn't take it. I was gonna make her mind one way or the other.

I walked up the stairs and walked into her room. I fell onto her bed after grabbing my phone from the dresser. I dialed someone I knew who could help me.

"Hey, Kaep, wassup?"

"Hey, Crabtree. Nothin' much, down here in the A."

"You too? Man, ATL ain't ready for us."

I laughed. "Yeah, man they ain't buhh I got somethin goin' on and I kind of need yo help."

"Anything Kaep Daddy. Wassup?"

"I got a girl pregnant."

"Seriously?" He practically yelled into the phone. "Is she a girlfriend?"

"Nah...Not yet anyways. She got cuffed by some big time lawyer. I ain't havin it. I think I'm falling for her."

"Oh shoot! Kaep Daddy is hooked on some girl! Bruh I'll help you with anything because this is rare or if this has ever happened."

"Thanks, man. I owe you one. But can you pull through?"

"If you at her house then hell yeah. I'm down just text me the address."

I laughed a little. "Thanks, man." And with that I hung up.

"Hey, Colin, you know what?"

I looked towards the door and saw Kelly who was glowing with happiness. This is the happiest I have EVER seen her in my times that I've known her. It just makes her look even more beautiful. Maybe I shouldn't try to ruin what her and Quincy have no matter how much I hate him. And yes, I know hate is a strong word but so our my feelings for her. Maybe I should try to ruin it.

"Yeah, Kel?"

She uneasily walked into the room. "You can stay for the night if you want." She rubbed her arm slowly and looked away from me. "I don't want you have to spend your money even though you have a ton of it."

"Thanks. Is it okay if I invite a friend over?" He asked.

She shrugged. "Don't really care just as long as it is not a girl."

"Thanks." I winked at her and smiled. She rolled her eyes before walking out of the room.

I texted King Crab, sending him her address and telling him about my plan to get Kel to be mine even though this was gonna require some time. Although my plan had already begun... ever since I had got her into bed earlier. I purposely showed up with roses, wore my wife beater, purposely seduced her. I had everything planned out to the detail and I was bound to make her mine.
