Ashton POV
"WHAT'S WRONG WITH MY HAIR," Michael yelled at me.
"It needs to be dyed. The galaxy isn't working anymore."
"MY HAIR IS FINE! Jesus, Ashton!"
"Dye it pink."
"I can see it," Luke laughed.
"It's settled. You are getting it done tomorrow, Mikey."
"But I don't wanna! Lou isn't here! Remember what happened last time I dyed my own hair?"
Luke busted up laughing.
"That- that was horrible," he struggled to choke out his words through spurted giggles. Idiot.
"I'LL DO IT," Calum screamed. Michael sighed in defeat.
"Fine. But you, Ashton, must first explain to us why we are 'packing our bags'"
"OKAY, LADS! We are going on a little trip to Washington!"
The response was simultaneous.
"What the hell?"
"Why the hell are we going there?"
"Where the hell is that?"
I sighed and said a silent prayer that Erin hadn't predicted correctly about the boys killing me.
"Well you see," I started cautiously, "there is this girl. I met her through twitter?"
"WHAT THE FVCK ASHTON," Michael screamed. "We are going to god knows where for some girl you met over twitter. What a whore. Ash, are you falling for this?" I was fuming by the time he finished talking.
"She is not a whore, Michael," I spat. "She is a 16 year old fan who I just got done talking about pinkberry to. She's funny and intelligent and awkward and passionate. Look her up. I just tweeted her. Hell, take my phone and look at our conversation. She might fix me guys. Can't you see that?"
They all stared at me, jaws slack, eyes wide. I did what I knew I had to and left the room.
I was getting really defensive
over her already. Yeah maybe I didn't know her. But with my state in life, I was willing to take a risk. I need to be fixed and she will fix me. She had to. I need it. She wasn't a whore. I hadn't known her for long, but she was anything but that. She was fvcking smart, and for the 5 minutes I talked to her, I knew. I knew that she was what I was missing. And I will forever defend my someone.
Luke POV
What the hell.
Ashton.
Happy, funny, cheeky Ashton.
She might fix me? What the hell was he talking about? I hadn't noticed anything different about him. He still laughed and made Keeks and tweeted constantly. I guess his tweets had been getting a little deeper than normal. But that didn't mean anything. Did it?
I was the first to move and swipe Ashton's phone off the couch.
I couldn't hold back a gasp as I looked through her profile. She really was everything he said. But this was the internet. How did I know this was real? I went through his DM's and finally found her. I clicked on the messages and read from the top. Holy shit this girl was smart. She talked like a college student majoring in literature. Definitely not a whore.
I had to keep myself from looking through pictures of her, I knew I couldn't judge her that way. I had to wait till next week. This will be difficult.
I still don't know what to think about all this. But why not take a chance? We will regret it if we don't.

Michael still hadn't said a word. Ash really did a number on him. I can't say I'm surprised now that I know more about this girl. It was really harsh. I know it was. But I'm starting
to side with Ashton on the matter. I was totally chill with going. Cal had gone to bed hours ago, claiming to want to sleep on it. Sure. I bet he was looking up every detail on this girl just like I had. I decided to speak up.
"Michael?" He didn't answer. Not that I blamed him. None of us had seen that side of Ashton before. And the fire was directed at him. I tried again.
"Mikey?"
"Yes, Luke," he whispered, his voice hoarse and refined.
"You shouldn't have called her a whore." He didn't look up.
I continued.
"Just, ah, look at this okay?" I told him, tossing him Ash's phone.
"She's actually kind of spectacular. I think you would like her. She just sent her number. I might call in a little bit. Just look it over, yeah?"
"Okay."
That was the last time I spoke that night. I knew not to go check on Ashton. I'd talk to him in the morning over vegimite and toast. That'll cheer him up. As for now... I want to find out more about this girl.
Michael POV
I overreacted. I know.
But Ashton yelled at me.
He doesn't do that. Not Ashton. Who does this girl think she is? I still wasn't sure I wanted to find out. I figured id wait until I was forced to meet her. I debated whether or not to go talk to Ashton. I decided not too. I knew enough not to push him. This week will be interesting. I swear though, I was excited. I was trying to tell myself I wasn't, but I was. I am. Something is going to happen. I don't know what, and I don't know when. I just hope I haven't ruined everything.
