Ashton POV

Today was the day. We were going to see Erin, and I was way more excited than I should have been. She was a fan. But I couldn't shake this feeling that she was my someone. I don't know I just... She was it. I didn't like like her... But I did like her. I knew there was something the day I first heard of her. But she wasn't for me. I knew, somehow I knew who she was for. And he wouldn't admit it. Bastard. And I knew all the boys felt something about this trip too. It was something none of us had experienced before...

Mikey and I were getting better. I just wasn't ready to talk about it yet. Lets just say that my life in high school was... Complicated. Maybe she was the person I would tell it to first. I don't know.

But today... Today was a good day. I was happy. And I like to tweet when I'm happy. So, being the teenager that I am, I took a selfie, and tweeted.

"@ashton5SOS: feeling happy today"

The replies were instant. I was just waiting for Erin's. She didn't reply yet... It's okay, it is. I'd see her that night. I was nervous, I'll admit. But I don't think anyone was more nervous than Luke.

"Do we have everything?"

"Yes, Luke."

"But... But aren't we bringing the instruments?!"

"Luke. They are already on their way to the airport."

"Did I pack that one shirt?"

"Yes, Luke."

"ASHTON DID I BRING MY TOOTHBRUSH I NEED IT WHERE IS IT?!"

"Luke," I laughed, "you are fine! God, are you scared to meet her. I thought she was just another fan?"

"I.. I'm not! I'm just... I don't wanna forget anything," he pleaded. I saw Calum roll is eyes.

"What is it with you, Luke? Do I need to keek this because I will," I giggled. That has been happening a lot today. Just excited, I guess.

"DON'T," he cried, looking horrified.

"Alright, Lucas. I'm gonna go call Erin, okay?" His eyes lit up at her name... Oh hell no.

"Luke Hemmings she is SIXTEEN."

"What are you..."

I gave him a pointed look. He turned his head to Calum for help.

"You got this, Lukie," Calum screamed slapping his ass and walking away.

"I don't know what you're talking about. She's just a girl..." His voice cracked at the end. This wouldn't end well.

"Okay, whatever you say, but I'm gonna call her. We are leaving in an hour."

Erin POV

Panic. That's what I felt. It was Tuesday. The Tuesday. IT WAS

T H E TUESDAY! Oh my God. I don't know what to wear. What do I do? It's currently... 5:35 in the morning. I had 11 hours and 25 minutes until I met 5 seconds if summer. Fvck. Ash and I called each other at least twice a day and spent the rest of the time texting. It was a weird, fast paced relationship, and my friends were so excited they couldn't think straight. Me? I was getting used to it. Strangely, it was as though I had known him my whole life. As cliche as it sounds, it was the truth. We had so much in common. It was insane. Pacing the floor, I was about to call Ash when he called me.

"Hello?"

"ASHTONNNNNNN."

"Woah. Hello!"

"Hi. What time are you leaving? Are you all packed? Tonight's casual right? I'm actually freaking out over meeting my new best friend is that weird?" I laughed.

"Erin. You are fine. We're just people, remember?"

"Yeah, yeah, shut up. How is everyone?"

"Mikey's sleeping. He is gonna be such a bitch today, so I apologize in advance. Calum is being fvcking cheeky, I don't understand him. And Luke... Well Luke is worse than you."

"WORSE THAN ME!? WHAT DID I DO?"

"Um.. You see I think you're just too charming."

"What was that?"

"Nothing, nothing. He's just nervous that's kinda how he is. Don't let it get to you."

"Yeah well if coffee calms him down, then we will be fine. Rachel's working tonight, she's awesome. I actually think Cal will like her. Lets just say they make similar facial expressions." Ashton laughed at that.

"Yeah, well," Ashton laughed, "Calum's a little... Thirsty." Oh my God did he just say that. I couldn't stop laughing.

"ASHTON! GET HIM SOME WATER, THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?" At this point we were both laughing so hard I thought my lungs would burst.

"Okay, okay," he breathed, trying to calm down, "I've got to go. We have to leave in like, ten minutes. And Mikey still isn't awake."

"Okay," I said, smiling, "don't die, blondie. I'll be checking my phone all day. Text me everything, and make sure your damn plane doesn't crash!"

"Okay, Jesus Erin! Poor you and school, oh boo hoo!"

"Shut UP, Ashton!" He laughed. Typical.

"Alright, alright. Okay, I gotta go, hun. Love youuuu! Byeeeeeeeee!!" He made a kissy noise.

"Love you toooooooo! Byeeeeeeeeee!!" I made kissy noises back.

He was such a child. Ashton was my soul mate, I swear to God.

But let me explain something to you. I don't believe in soul mates being your boyfriend or girlfriend or husband or wife, not all the time. I believe in them being someone important in your life. A teacher. A parent. A friend. Yes, also a significant other. But Ashton. I wouldn't marry Ashton. I knew that, and I think he did too. We were meant to be in each other's lives. And I'm glad we were. I knew it all along. Thank God for Ashton Irwin.

Luke POV

I heard laughing. Why was there laughing? Oh. Yeah. Ashton was on the phone with Erin. Everyone laughed when they talked to her. No. No, I wasn't jealous. She's 16. I am NOT jealous.

Then I heard Ashton make a kissy noise and say... He said.. He.. Love you? Did he just tell her he loved her? But I thought that...

It took my everything to keep from bursting through the door. What the hell was wrong with me?

Ashton ran out of the room screaming.

"MICHAELLLLLL. WAKE UP, MICHAEL!"

"SHUT THE FVCK UP ASH!"

"WE ARE LEAVING IN 5 MINUTES GET YOUR ASS OUTTA BED," he giggled. What was with him?

As for me... I was just excited to see her. I wanted to see her face. I still hadn't looked at the pictures of her because I wanted to see with my own eyes. Ashton of course had skyped her 3 times. In a week. I don't know what was with him. I thought that.... Well I don't know what I thought. The only thing I knew was that I would win her over.

God help me with her.
