Middle Of A Memory

Old Friends

It was just like any other day, I was hanging out with my best friend Sabrina and my old best friend Megan. I met Sabrina towards the end of summer and we became close very fast. She has long black hair and green eyes, we are inseparable! Megan is a girl I've known since my freshman year of high school, she's not always a pleasure to be around, she is very short and has brown hair and brown eyes. I keep telling myself that I can make her into a nicer person but people don't change.

We all wanted to hang out with our friend Jerrett. He is super tall and talks with a low calm voice, no matter what he says I just can't help but laugh! I haven't talked to him since we had a class together freshman year. We used to always mess around in Spanish and barley got any work done, I'm still surprised we both passed! After she called him and we chose a spot to meet up I drove with her and Megan to meet  up with him,  take note that  I'm too lazy to take the time to get my permit...

When we all met up downtown I was exited to finally see him again. Sabrina yelled "Jerretto!" and ran up to hug him, I followed closely laughing and giving him a huge smile, saying  " Mother Giraffe! ".  He would always get so mad when I would call him that , But it was too fun to tease him . We agreed to take two cars to Nimarcos. I hate pizza but there is always cute boys working so why not? I wanted to ride in his Toyota , Megan and Sabrina agreed to follow behind us in her car. As we were walking to get in the cars all of my old memories with him came back, like how when I had a class with him I'd always tease him about his truck . It's so low to the ground, and I'd always tell him that adding electrical tape to the front lights to create an "X" didn't make it any "cooler ". When I hopped in I decided to break the " haven't talked to you in a while-ice" by asking him how he's been, he smiled and told me what he's been up to since he graduated. I was glad that not a lot changed between us.

When we got to Nimarcos our friend Trayven was working, when I saw him I rushed up to the counter. Megan, being the "Whoops did I say that out loud?" kind of person she is, said something about how she would fuck any of the guys working. I think to myself, Great... now everyone in here is looking at us and probably thinks we are all hoes, why does she always say immature things like that? Sabrina and I shared an embarrassed eye-roll and walked up to order. I always get one slice of Pepperoni and Sabrina sticks with two slices of cheese. Once we ordered we walked back to the start of the line just so we could talk to Trayven more, you could hear Megan's voice from a mile away and then Jerrett's. They got done paying so we finished up talking to him and chose a place to sit. When you go out to eat with Sabrina you must sit at a booth, thankfully there was a couple open. Once we got done eating Jerrett asked us if we wanted to go to his best friends apartment across town. We all nod and Sabrina jumps up and says " We all can fit in his truck!", I sigh and say "Guess me and Megan can sit in the bed..."

The trip back to Sabrina's car was miserable and long. When we finally jumped into two cars and Jerrett was upset to find out that Megan had to ride with him. Sabrina nearly begged me to ride with her, I just laughed knowing Jerrett would hate the ride to Jimmy's apartment.
