Chapter 17 potion hazard

Currently Ben Tennyson is sitting at the bar with Lucy. After promptly dropping Wendy back at her town he flew back home fallowing the tracks back.

He was still concerned about her though. The feeling he felt around Wendy was similar to when he got dragon slayer magic.

Except instead of giving power, it felt more like accepting a command. And it repeatedly said defend, defend, defend.

Whatever about Wendy that had Ben on edge was sort of confusing to him. Almost like when Big Chill went through his... "life cycle".

He still felt embarrassed from remembering the video Kevin showed him. Speaking of, the former enemy and his cousin were out on a job.

Ben sighed about that weird feeling he felt. "I'll just keep it in mind and focus on something else" he said then caught wind of Lucy's statements. Apparently she wants to go on a job but Natsu wants some time off.

"It'd just feel awkward going with someone else" the blonde said, "we're a team". "Thanks Luce" Ben said, "awe you're so loyal to each other, almost like a couple" Mira said,

"What no way" Lucy said out of self defense. Ben snickered a little, lucky Lucy couldn't hear it. He used telepathy to discretely communicate with Mira. "Project LuNa is in place" they said telepathically.

Recently Ben had picked up Mira's habit to ship the guild members. Though he did find it embarrassing at times, Ben felt like it was good to hang around girls rather than with Natsu who kept badgering him to fight or Gray who kept stripping his clothes off.

Guy time was great but being with girls helps him understand them. And to an extent become a better boyfriend to Erza. By getting tips from Mira and other guild members, he can treat his red headed angel to the best of the best.

As for the shipping, Ben and Mira had agreed on most of the ship names. Examples are Nalu or Luna, Gruvia, GaLe, and Etc. Mira reminded Ben not to forget Erzen or Benza, but he didn't need to remember because he always repeated the name in his mind.

"Well you never know deep down, Natsu might have feeling for you" Mira said. Ben nodded, "yeah just because someone doesn't seem very romantic doesn't mean they can't be" he added.

Lucy stopped for a minute, then looked towards said dragon slayer who was dancing on one of the tables. "Yeah even if that were the case, I'm afraid I'll have to pass" she said, Ben couldn't deny that Natsu looked stupid dancing like that.

But he and Mira were determined, "I think you two would be adorable together" Mira beamed. Ben wouldn't say adorable, more like so opposite that you attract each other like magnetic charges.

Natsu then started shaking his butt which was facing Ben. Getting ticked he stood up, then Gray beat him to the punch. "Natsu what do you think you're doing? Stop goofing around we got work to do" the ice mage said.

Erza then showed up, "Would you please put some clothes on" she said angrily. "And what's wrong with you, did your powers finally fry that brain of yours into a lump of charcoal?" She said.

When Natsu replied so nonchalantly as if he didn't care what she said Ben had enough he walked past both Gray and Erza.

"Natsu" he said sinisterly, though the dragon slayer kept dancing, he took notice of Ben's mood. "would you please stop dancing or else me and Erza are gonna turn you inside out" he said. The dragon slayer then started running still dancing like a nincompoop.
