It started out as a normal day at Seattle Grace Mercy West hospital. Hectic, but that is how it usually was. That is until half the staff was either dying or dead.

It was 11:47 a.m.and Miranda Bailey was rounds checking on her favorite patient, Mary, Derek Shepherd was in his office filling out endless paperwork, and Calliope Torres was doing her best to avoid Arizona Robbins as much as possible. Everyone is minding their own business. No body hears the first gunshot from the supply room. No body notices that a man is about to kill more than a dozen people.

Reed Adamson, the very first victim to what will be a mass murdering. She went into the supply closet to get supplies for a patient having seizures, no body noticed that she never came back. If they had many live could have possibly been saved, but they didn't. No body noticed that Alex Karev, who had walked in right after was also shot and bleeding to death. No body knew there was a murderer on the loose until April Kepner slipped on the pool of blood from Reed's head falling flat on her face.

Covered in blood which no body noticed, April walked straight to Derek Shepherds office where he called an emergency lock down. Just a drill, everyone thought. They couldn't have been more wrong.
