It was now the second day of PAX. Jack and I were mostly wide awake; since at this time in Seattle, it was still afternoon. We'll be messing up our sleeping schedules once we get back to Ireland. I won't mind anyways, since I've already messed up mine a few times before.

"(Y/N), hurry the fock up!" I heard Jack yell from outside the bathroom. I was still taking a shower and was already half way done.

"Just give me a few more seconds, I'm almost done!" I replied in a yell as well, my voice bouncing off the walls in this closed-space bathroom.

"You better hurry up or we'll be late!" Jack replied, trying to scare me but instantly failed ― adorable.

"Ha, ha! Very funny, Jack! Don't worry, we'll make it!" I replied, finally ending the short conversation there. As much as I hated small talks, didn't wanna call this a small talk.

I was already done rinsing the soap off my hair and body, so I got out of the shower and grabbed my towel to wipe myself dry, putting on my clothes afterwards. I wore some casual torn jeans and a white shirt with four black stripes at the bottom end of my shirt, partnered with some regular black converse. Pretty much my casual attire for any convention ― at this point anyways.

As soon as I was done fixing myself up, I unlocked the bathroom door and opened it to see Jack standing there, literally right in front of me ― our faces just centimeters apart. I couldn't help but just blush in an instant.

"I....uh..e-excuse me." I squeaked. I just acted dumb right there, in front of Jack ― who I had a crush on. How stupid of me.

"O-Of course." Jack replied as he moved out of the way to let me move out of his way as well.

But, even before I could leave him, he swiftly moves his arm right in front of me and just instantly wraps the other arm around my body. He keeps on making me a blushing mess.

"Yeah, you're not leaving me now. Let's go to the convention late." He joked as he stuck out his tongue at me. I giggled and just shook my head while I struggled out of his grasp around me.

"Yeah...I hate being late as a matter of fact, so I'd rather choose not being late to the convention." I replied, as I finally broke free from Jack's grasp around me. It was a bit unexpected from him, since he rarely does that.

Why does he do that...to me? I couldn't help but just ask that question to myself and not get an answer at all, it was an amazing feeling.

"Fiiiine! I was gonna keep my promise anyways!" He whined as he winked at me before he entered the bathroom.

Him and his promises. I couldn't help but just describe those as sweet gestures. This is how in love I was with the Irish man, but the negativity always won, leaving me be on one side and just patiently wait for the river to flow.

As soon as I heard the shower running, I walked over to my bed and place my changed clothes on top of it while I used my towel to gently dry off my hair. While I was doing so, I just stared into nothingness ― still doing what I was doing ― to think, and think only.

It was a habit of mine, but it passes in just five minutes. So, I waited for five minutes to pass, and it was the exact amount of minutes of how long Jack takes a shower ― how convenient. I heard the shower turn off as the sound of running water wasn't audible anymore.

Geez, does it feel like it only takes like seconds for the guy to finish a shower. I thought.

I assumed now he was getting changed. For now, I won't be able to tie my hair since it was still dripping wet. I loved tying my hair and I hated not tying it whenever I start my day; but I had to wait for my hair to dry now while walking around the convention, I guess.
