chapter 11 - shocker

Maggies pov.

"Leave me alone you monster!"

I jolt awake from the screaming outside the room i'm in. Who is screaming? Why is there another snow girl in here? Omg do they want to kill me?! Just the thought of me dying makes me want to cry in the corner, lock myself from everyone and sit there in the silence.

"I told you that I would never let you go! I got you, your mine! You can't find you're friend anymore!" I heard that one familiar voice yell out to what i'm guessing the other snow girl.

"And I told you I wont give up!"

I grab a white blanket and two white pillows and ran towards the corner of the room. I slide down the wall, putting my knees up to my chest, my eyes started to water from how scared I was. I put both pillow against my knees then the white blanket over my body, covering the pillows. I hide my face with the blanket, if you were here I would look like a scared kid.

I started to hear things braking, skin contact and more yelling and screaming. Soon I was crying, from all the violence that happening outside of the room.

"I said let me go!"

"Chris get me the drug!"

"Let me go!"

"Grab her!"

"Get that thing away from me-"

I was fully crying, not wanting to hear them, I hate violence. I pull the blanket closer towards me, holding it for my dear life.

'Please make them stop' I said in my head.

"What's happening here?!" I hear the woman that I met yesterday shout. Everything went silent, like if any moment she could explode.

'Thank you Jesus' I say to myself.

"Le-"

"You do know that the other girl is right there right?!"

"Wait is that room soundproof?!" Chris's mother shouts.

"I think'"

"Omg!"

I heard footsteps coming closer and closer to the room. I heard the door starting to unlock, making me squeeze my eyes close, hugging one of the pillows and haveing the blanket over me head. Soon I heard the door open.

"Omg!" I heard the woman muffle out, my guess she had her hand over her mouth. I look out from the blanket, only exposing my watery eyes that have been crying. Chris's mother came running towards me, before I had the chance to run away from her because she decided not take her time to run towards me. She engulf me in a hug, this made me go stiff, I haven't hugged a women in a year, ever since the day I left Lexy.

I soon started to lean on her shoulder, this feels good, reminds me how much I use to hug Lexy all the time, how much I miss those hugs. Just thinking about it is making me cry more.

"Shhh its ok hunny, everything is going to be ok."

I hug her, crying on her shoulder. How much I miss Lexy, would I ever see her again? Would I ever get to hug her again? Questions went flying all over my head.

After I finally calm down a bit I let go of Chris's mother, looking past her to see Chris there, looking like he just committed a crime.

"Baby are you-"

"Chris get out....Now!" Chris's mother yelled at chris. I see that he was about to talk back but didn't say nothing, he just stormed out of the room, slamming the door, this caused me to jump from the sudden noise.

"What's your name sweetheart?" The woman says to me with a small, sweet smile. Should I tell her my real name? I am going to be staying here with her.

"M-maggie," I stutter out quietly, tuning my head away from her.

"I just love your name sweety, call me Alyssa," Alyssa said to me with a smile. I return a small smile back. I wonder if were going to have a mother daughter relationship or a best friend relationship?

"Come dear, I have to show you around the house,after all you are going to be living here with us," Alyssa said. I get up from the ground and extend my arm to help Alyssa get up.

"Thank you sweety, wait you have to change out of those close."

I look down to see that i'm still wearing the same close from last time.

"There's some clothes in the closet, after your done meet me down stairs."

After 3 hours or so of Alyssa showing me around the house I fell in love with it. A Lot of the things were white which I loved and other things that were a dark, very dark white....Like the sky at night, except darker. But what I loved the most was the backyard forest thing. Alyssa told me what all the things were because I told her why does the lake have concrete all around it.

"So what do you think?" Alyssa ask while we are sitting underneath a beautiful tree.

"I love it," I whisper out, looking at the 'pool' that Alyssa told me about. I love how it looked but what I didn't like is that it wasn't a lake.

"Are you hungry sweety?" Alyssa ask. I started to think about food which made my stomach growl out loud. I try hiding my face, I just embarrassed myself in front of chris's mom. Alyssa just laugh at me.

"Come, i'll make some waffles and strawberry smoothie for the both of us." I show Alyssa a kind smile, I get up and help Alyssa out. Once done we both walk in the house and into the kitchen but once I got in I was shocked. I wanted to cry on the spot. I just want to hug her to death.

"M-maggie?"
