chapter 21 - snow flake

Maggie's pov.

TODAY IS THE DATEEE!!!!!! OMGGGG!!! Is what I was saying in my head.

For some reason today Lexy was up and ready today, she was walking! What's weird to me is that she just started her heat and today she was done with it, she wasn't screaming nore crying, just walking around... Well more like skipping around, she was kissing Dome a lot today, eating his face like ewwww. Wonder what happen last night with her? Maybe she has a one day type of  heat thing I guess.

Currently I was in the kitchen eating with Alyssa. I was eating a bowl of strawberry smoothie with coconut, strawberry, blue berry, and blackberry that I made.

God I just love making these, it's fun making them but at the same time its messy, god, I remember when I was little I was in the kitchen with Lexy and we saw this one snow girl making one, we asked kindly if she could show us how, next thing you know the kitchen was on fire... Don't ask how.

While I was eating I saw lexy running into the kitchen and looking around, when she look'd at me and Alyssa she put her finger up to her mouth and ran out of the kitchen, not even 5 seconds later Dome comes in and looks at me dead in the eye, oh god.

"Maggie, where did Lexy go?" Dome kindly asks me...... Wait.... Did I hear that right?

"Umm, she ugh, she ran over there," I pointed to the direction she went to.

"Thanks." Then ran out to the direction I pointed to.

Omg..... For once he didn't yell at me!!!

I slowly slid down the chair till you could only see my hair, forehead and eyes. I then went back to sitting down, Alyssa was laughing at me which I could feel my cheeks getting warm.

After 16 minutes of me eating/talking to Alyssa I got up and offered to clean her dish. After I was done cleaning I hugged Alyssa and decided to go outside to practice my powers, it's been awhile since I have.

When I closed the door from the backyard I started to hear Lexy giggling and laughing, ugh they should be inside, not outside... Oh well.

I continue to walk towards this one big tree that has shade. I sit down, close my eyes and start to concentrate on my powers, slowly starting to feel something grow in me, the feeling of cold and wet, something so beautiful yet delicate. Once I feel it I was concentrated I slowly place my hands together and try to make that feeling go down to my hands. Soon my face got cold, went to my neck, my chest, my arms then to my hands.

When I felt the coldness surround my hands I started to repeat some words over and over again my head. When the feeling got intense even more I stopped, opened my eyes which may have turned ice blue, and slowly open my hands. When I opened my hands cold air/fog came out, and in the middle of my hands was a beautiful snowflake. I opened my hands even wider to have my palms facing up.

Around the beautiful snow flake was little snowflakes and snow was falling around it, it looks so beautiful-

"OMG WHAT IS THAT!!!! THAT'S SO BEAUTIFUL MAGGIE!!!!!!!" Lexy screams from excitement.

When lexy screamed I started to lose my consecration which made my snowflake go smaller, it went smaller and smaller till it disappeared into the thin air. My-My snowflake.

I felt tears form in my eyes, I look down to see my snowflake wasn't there anymore, I look up to see a smiling lexy..... Dome walking towards Lexy.

"How could you Lexy..." I whispered while I was looking down at my hand, where my snowflake was.....

"How could I what-"

I quickly look up at Lexy to see her, she was in shock to see me, my eyes were still blue because I felt my tears really cold. I sniffle and cry a bit more. I really should not be crying this much but my emotions are getting the best of me, this snowflake I just made took so much work and effort to make,it was so beautiful to me....

I get up from the ground, look at Lexy with sadness, then look at a very much confused Dome. I turn back and walk towards the house, I close the door behind, I let my hair surround my face and continue to walk all the way up to Chris's room, I lightly close the door and lock it. I then walk over to the bed and laid down, I look up where the clock was to see it was 10:37 a.m.

'A nap wouldn't hurt.'

I set a small alarm on and just let my eyes close, slowly getting lost into the darkness.

"Maggie, wake up sweetie."

"Mhhh."

"Maggie you have to wake

I open one of my eyes to see Alyssa sitting next to me....... Waittttt! Did I not lock the door?!

"Spare key, now sweetie get up and start getting ready for your date,"

"Alright Alyssa."

I slowly get up from the comfy bed and go straight to the bathroom, I striped out of my clothes and got in the shower. After I was done I wrapped a towel around my body and hair, brushed my teeth, then dried my hair with the blow dryer that I just started to learn how to use. Once done I put a bit of coconut oil in my hair to make it shiny, soft and a bit more straighter.

'Alright, makeup I guess.'

So I don't know if you know but I only use strawberry for lip gloss, stains my lips a bit. Apparently Alyssa left some other things which are other forms of makeup but I don't know how to use them so i'm just going out with lip gloss and so i'm done!

I step out of the bathroom and walk towards the closet, once I step in I started to look around to see what will look good for me.

After 3 minutes of looking around I decided to wear this cute white long skirt and see through white top with white heels.

Once I'm done I leave the bedroom and go down stairs and towards the kitchen because I already knew that Alyssa would be there.

When I entered the kitchen I saw her there making something to eat, i'm guessing for her husband.

"Hi Alyssa," I said cheerfully. Alyssa turns around and looks at me with pure amazement.

"Oh lord sweetie look at you! You look so beautiful!" Alyssa practically screams from amazement. I just laugh at her, I honestly don't but oh well.

"Sweetie please sit down, you'll get tired just by standing, here let me help you." Alyssa comes next to me and grabs my arm and tells me to sit down in the dining area which I do, she then continues to cook and we just start to talk and joke around.

'I wonder when Chris is coming?'

'Will he like me? cause I know that I like him a lot, heck maybe love him.'
