(Y/N) ran downstairs, panic-strickened. The music of the party as well as the cheerful screams from the guests seemed a lot more quiet now, as if the panic had temporally made (Y/N) deaf.
As she stumbled down the stairs, she bumped into someone. It was Liam. He held her by the shoulders and, noticing how alarmed she was, looked at her more concerned.
"They're here!" (Y/N) said.
Liam didn't need to ask questions to know what she was talking about. Only one thing could make her panic that much these days: the Ghost Riders. This improvised party was meant to help them keep an eye on Gwen, an ordinary, non-supernatural student who was threatened to be taken by the ghost riders. Liam and the rest of the pack had hoped that the ghost riders wouldn't turn up tonight, but they obviously did.
"Where's Gwen?" Liam asked (Y/N).
"Upstairs with Hayden." (Y/N) said, out of breath. "We need to get everybody out!" She shouted. But the music was too loud for the partying teenagers to hear (Y/N). And nobody but her friends seemed to notice how panicked and worried she was.
Mason, who had joined Liam and (Y/N) - followed by Corey, nodded and walked towards the speakers. He unplugged them and the music stopped. Everybody looked at Mason, who was holding the plug in his hand.
Everybody complained, shouted a collective 'Oooh' but they all exited the house at once.
Hayden came down the stairs, followed very closely by a very confused and scared girl, Gwen. She looked at Liam, Mason, Corey and (Y/N), waiting for some kind of explanation for their odd behaviour.
"Could someone please tell me what the hell is going on here?" Gwen asked.
"The people who took your sister, we have good reasons to think they are coming for you, tonight." Hayden explained. "We have to get you out of here."
Hayden gently grabbed Gwen's arm and walked towards the door. The poor girl was too confused and terrified to ask any questions, and followed Hayden towards the exit.
"Outside isn't any safer than in here." (Y/N) declared. "They're already here, and they are everywhere." She added.
And as Hayden opened the door, she came face to face with a tall man, wearing a long black coat and a hat, which was hiding half of his scarred face. Hayden's eyes widened as she realised who it was and slammed the door shut immediately. Gwen let out a small scream as Hayden dragged her away from the door and into a corner of the room. Mason quickly spread mountain ash across the entrance to keep the ghost rider from coming inside.
"Now what?" Corey asked.
Everybody looked at each other, trying to think of a plan. Suddenly, (Y/N) heard heavy footsteps coming their way and then she saw another ghost rider, slowly but surely walking towards Gwen. Liam noticed (Y/N) staring blankly in front of her. He frowned.
"(Y/N), what is it?" Liam asked.
"There is one in the house." (Y/N) said quietly, almost in a whisper. "He is heading for Gwen." She added without taking her eyes off of the ghost rider, who was getting closer.
At these words, Corey - who had the ability to see the ghost riders while using his powers, put his hand against the wall and immediately vanished. "Can you see him?" Mason asked Corey.
"Yes. (Y/N) is right, he is coming towards Gwen." Corey replied, as he observed the ghost rider walking his way across the room. Then, Corey saw the tall man stop in his tracks.
"Wait." Corey whispered.
"What?" Liam asked.
Corey watched the ghost rider turn his head to look at (Y/N). (Y/N), who could also see the ghost rider, was surprise to see him look at her. Though she couldn't see his eyes because of his hat, she knew that he was staring deeply into hers. And then, the ghost rider started walking in (Y/N)'s direction, as if he had just changed his mind about his next victim.
"He is not coming for Gwen!" Corey said, bewildered. "He is walking towards-"
"Me." (Y/N) finished his sentence. "He is coming for me."
