Rose's POV: I snuggled close to Yami as we fell asleep in each others arms. The next morning I woke up on the couch with a blanket covering me and a soft pillow under my head. "Good morning" Yugi said as he walked down the stairs to the kitchen. "Good morning to you too, hey did Yami bring me down here last night?" I asked "Oh yeah, Yami didn't want to wake you so, he brought you down here so he could go back into the puzzle." Yugi replied with a smile. "That was very kind of him, not wanting to wake me up." I replied, blushing lightly as I remembered yesterday. "So, I was wondering......if you don't mind......would you like to duel?" Yugi asked shyly. I thought about it and I decided it might be fun and I could relax a bit so I said "Sure, why not? Sounds like fun!"

Yugi's POV: As Rose and I set up the duel, Yami is talking to me in my mind. 'Do you think she could have any link to my past Yugi?' Yami asked 'She might be Yami, but we can't know for sure. Not until we know for sure. 'I reply, my voice full of uncertainty. "Hey Yugi, you ready?" Rose asks. 'Ok Yami, time for you to take over!' I tell Yami.

Rose's POV: There was a flash of light and Yami appeared taking place of Yugi. "Alright Rose, it's time to duel!" Yami says. Both of us start off good but Yami gets the upper hand. "I go first so I'll play 'Elemental HERO Prisma' in Attack mode, also I'll put this monster in Defense mode for now and end my turn! So give me your best shot!" I taunt.

I'm at 1200 Life Points and Yami is at 3400 Life Points. Yami could win with one hit from his 'Dark Magician' because it has 2500 Attack Points. "Its my turn so I draw!" I say. I draw and I couldn't believe my luck of the card that I drew. It was 'Dark Magician of Chaos'! I felt so happy that one of my Magicians was there to help me out. "I sacrifice 'Plague Wolf' in order to summon 'Dark Magician of Chaos'!" I yell proudly. Yami's face is in pure shock as the Magician comes out onto the field. "How did you obtain that card Rose?" Yami asked me "Well, I got him from my dad, he was an archeologist. He loved the mysteries that new artifacts can uncover. One day, after a long day of digging, he found a small town. There was a man at a card shack wearing white robes and he was looking directly at my dad. So my dad went over since he knows I love Duel Monsters so much, and that same man spoke to him. 'I see that your daughter has a strong love for Duel Monsters. I think that she would love to have this card. She'll need it later in her life when she encounters the Pharaoh.' He said. With that, he handed my dad a 'Dark Magician of Chaos' card. And I've had it ever since that day." As I finish Yami is surprised for some reason I'm not sure why though.

Yami's POV: 'Yugi, Shadi must have been the stranger that Rose's dad met' I said. Yugi looked at me with surprise, but I could see that he understood what I meant. 'Yami, you know that we have to ask her about Ancient Egypt. Do you think your up for it?' Yugi asks me with concern. I know that what Yugi is trying to say, Rose might not accept the information as true. 'I'm up for it, but do you think she'll believe us?' I ask. 'Yami, all we can do is hope for the best. Lets just hope that she believes what we have to say...' Yugi replies.
