Everything went dark for awhile. It was quite hard to get your bearings right when you're not even sure which way is up. He felt like he was floating or falling in a never-ending chasm. You can't even see the bottom anymore. As his body continues to hurl in a free fall, his face, once again, greeted the cold hard dirt on the ground.

[Slapping sound]

"Ow! Why did you do that?" Henry felt a sharp stinging sensation on his right cheek as he tried to recover himself from the ground, yet again.

"What the hell is wrong with you! Thanks for making me deaf you idiot!" Jeremy was practically shouting at Henry's face while rubbing his ears.

Henry needed a moment to recollect his thoughts. He wasn't even sure how he got there in the first place. Apparently, Jeremy must have slapped him or something.

"What..What just happened?..I.." Henry was completely dumbfounded.

"Seriously? You don't remember, huh? You don't remember lying on the ground for no good reason? You don't remember screaming like a maniac when I tried to wake you up? SHE'S GONNA EAT ME!!! THEY 'RE KILLING ME!! HELPPP!!" Jeremy made a mockery of what seemed to be Henry's earlier expression.

"Henry does it better though..[Chuckling].." said Eddie who was standing nearby.

"Shut up Eddie, that's not even funny." Jeremy was clearly not in the mood for jokes.

It took awhile for Henry to stand up while still rubbing his sore cheek. He started to move around in circles, trying to see if he can still walk properly. Miraculously, the pain in his ankle was gone, almost as if it was never there.

"What are you doing now? You're not trying to make it rain or anything are you?" quipped Jeremy.

Nothing felt right at that moment. Bits and pieces of the events that transpired that evening was somewhat lost to him. Deep in his heart, he knew something happened, but nothing at the moment seems to make sense to him.

"I..I think I hurt my leg.." said Henry while looking down on one of his legs.

"Well, they don't look hurtful to me." Eddie was saying his doubts.

Then came the awkward silence. None of them spoke for a minute.

"Lets go back to the party then. I have no idea what is wrong with you, Henry. You do know how to play hide and seek right? It's a game where people go hide themselves? So the other person can go look for them?" Jeremy was taking a condescending tone with Henry.

"Of course I know what hide and seek is! I'm not stupid, ok! I'm just..just.."

"Just what, Henry? You were saying? I have no idea what prank you're trying to pull here but it's not funny, ok? Playing possum? Screaming into my face? You really are a loser aren't you?"

"Easy, Jeremy..he's already hurting, ok?..Easy.." said Eddie who was trying to defuse the tension between them.

Henry wiped his wet cheeks with his shirt. He knew why he was crying and it didn't come from Jeremy's sucker slap. Just when Jeremy and Eddie was about to turn away, he said something.

"Shirley!..It was her!..She..she..was the one that did all this!..Along with her brothers..I think.." said Henry.

Jeremy and Eddie looked confused.
