Chapter 21: Suspicions

I groaned in pain as I had been waking up to screaming,Squeaking, and barking. I had clutched to what seems grass.

"Chip! Hey Chip! Come here and look what I found!" A tiny voice yelled. Oh how annoying it was.

I heard little scurries in the grass and then they had been halted.

"Gee Chip, Where do you think she came from?" Dale asked. Chip shrugged.

"Who knows? Maybe her world was corrupted by heartless too! We should let Queen Minnie know that we found a girl so she doesn't freak out at the last moment like she always does." Chip suggested. As always, Dale agreed.

"Alright, well, should we have some guards watch her while we-"

"Nah, she'll be fine. Let's go before more stuff happens." Chip said. Both agreed and scurried off.

Vanitas came out and hovered over me.

"Well you look like your having fun. Tell me, how does it feel having to hurt yourself for no reason?" he asked.

I opened my eyes."Shut up, ok? I'm only-"

"You're only doing it for respect. Pfft the way you're going you're going to loose more of it while on this mission."

I sat up and looked around. I had sheilded my eyes and looked away.

"God, too much sun." I complained, Standing up.

Vanitas had done So also."Tell me about it."

I looked around and saw numerous bushes filled with red roses and several patches of daisies. I had also seen leaf figurines of some sort around too. I walked around and then picked a rose of a bush and smelt it. It was then that something hit me. A vision of a girl that looked like me.

"Mom don't these smell great?" The girl asked, holding up a bouquet of red roses to a women with dark brown hair and blue eyes.

The women took the flowers and sniffed them as well.

"They sure do, I think you're Aunt Susan will find them perfect. Now why don't you place those lovelies into a glass of water and go play your game?" mom asked.

I shook my head."But mom, you're sick I can't just leave you to play a game."

Mom shook her head.

"You helped enough sweetie , thank you."

I sighed."I just feel bad that I leave you alone all the time. Ever since you and dad separated. I'm all you have to help you out ever since brother Disappeared." I said trying to hold the tears.

"You never even met him though. I am sad that he has disappeared and I'm hoping we will find him again someday. We just have to believe." Mom got up and pulled me into a hug.

She smiled."Now go play your game while I set up lunch."

I nodded." Alright."

I snapped out of my trance And looked around franticly. I then froze and held my head in my hands and fell to my knees and started to cry.

"W-Was t-that m-me? Or was that-"

"That was you before your memory got wiped out. I know every memory of yours but you don't. Ever since you crossed over here fully back to this world somebody erased your memory because you knew what would happen to everybody before what would happen to them. The person saw you as a threat and took what you had against us all. Our destinies," Vanitas explained. He bent down next to me.

"I-Is there a way you could restore my memories?" I asked.

He nodded." Yes, But it will overwhelm you in the moments you get them back. It would be best to do so now,"

I nodded."Just please do it now. I don't care what happens, I just want my memories back." I said.

Vanitas snapped his fingers and I fell to the ground with my eyes wide open. I was frozen. The memories flowed into me Slowly. Some I never even recognized.

Then suddenly everything went black.

"Queen Minnie, Oh Queen Minnie!" Screamed Chip and Dale running down the castle's halls.

Queen Minnie and her assistant Daisy turned.

"Oh dear Minnie, do you think it's the heartless again?" Daisy asked.

Minnie sighed." I don't know. I thought that problem was taken cared of months ago,"

"Well, the heartless have gotten more powerful lately. So, I would probably say the could have found a way through." Daisy said.

Chip and Dale came to them both. Minnie bent down.

"Chip, Dale, what's wrong?" Minnie asked.

"We found a girl in your garden your majesty!" Chip yelled.

Daisy and and Minnie looked at each other.

"Take me down there for me to see." Minnie ordered.

They both nodded and led the way.

Vanitas' P.O.V.

I had turned visible for everyone to see. I was in my skin tight red and black outfit still but it was torn from my past fight against Ventus from almost a decade ago. I picked up Alex (Who should now respond to that name after regaining her memory back) and cradled her in my arms and looked around. I heard some hushed voices coming from a castle corridor just above us heading down towards me and Alex. I still feel mixed emotions about showing myself to my enemy.

I sat down on a grassy hedge,Alex remaining in my arms. It was then A mouse, a duck and two scrawny chipmunks appeared in front of me and Alex. All of the them were familiar to me.

"You! Just who do ya think you are!" Chip yelled.

I smirked."Your telling me you can't remember me. We all have met before at about a decade ago. Remember all the unversed? That was me."

"And let me guess, your behind the heartless too!" Dale yelled.

I shook my head."Unfortunately I am not."

Minnie then came forth near me and Alex.

"Leave that girl be young man! I don't know what you have against her or us but I demand you to show some respect and consideration. Now put her down!" Minnie yelled.

I lied her down on the grassy ledge.

"Fine, whatever. Have it your own way."

Minnie and the others brushed pass me and went to Alex. A couple of walking brooms came over to Minnie and then they came to me.

"Take him to the dungeons for now. We can question him later let's just tend to this girl now."

The brooms took hold of me.

"Let me go you shit heads!" I yelled, kicking. They had then took me down to the dungeons.

As I turned my head to glance behind, I saw some more brooms take Alex away upstairs along with the mouse and the the duck.
