WARNING: LAST PART!!!! (hehe i lied about it lasting longer)

Chapter 23: Undeniable truth.

I sat at a long table eating a bowl of what seems to be oatmeal. I grabbed my glass of milk and took a swig of it.

I then paused and put down the food and drink. I got out of my seat, went to the kitchen and went into the fridge. It was then I felt a quick gust of wind in the room from the windows.

Then it was gone.

I set down the jug of Orange juice and dump out my milk into the sink. I wrinkled my nose and shivered at its awful stench down the drain. It must have been expired. I poured the orange juice into my glass and went back to the table. I sighed and looked at the morning's post which was placed right in the middle of the table.

I took a bite not even looking down at my oatmeal and coughed it up onto the table cloth. I chugged some of my juice and it reduced some of my coughing but it only got harder. I heard hushed foot steps down the hall.

"Enjoying the meal?" The voice asked, it's steps echoing the hall.

I accidentally knocked over my orange juice over the morning post and fell off my chair, still coughing and unable to respond. I was shaking on the ground, like as if I were having a seizure. Everything grew fuzzy and voices began echo in my head.

The figure came into the light and it was a mouse sort of lady.

"Hmph, I guess not. Such a pity,such one indeed. I guess I should show my guest how it feels to waste such delicacy." She snapped her fingers.

I had felt something intrude my chest. It was like an arrow just shot. My vision gave out and I went cold.

Blacked out.

"Alex!" A voice called out. "Alex!"

My head lifted off of something warm and heard the jingle of shackles in the air. I opened my eyes and saw Vanitas.

"Vanitas?" I asked.

He nodded.

"What exactly happened to you?" he asked brushing the hair out of my face.

I sat up on bed shaking my head.

" The queen I guess poisoned me and made me go down here. What is With this place it feels like we are in some purgatory group. Why would Xemnas send us here out of his own will?"

Vanitas shook his head and pulled me into his arms. My eyes widened.

"You need to get out of here, There are dangerous people here, not to mention that we are dealing with dangerous creatures that are different from heartless.," Vanitas started.

My eyes remained widened." But, what about you? I can't just leave you."

Vanitas closed his eyes and I was on his shoulder, i had felt a tear that slid off his face. He held me tighter and I closed my eyes.

"Alex, I have cheated this world long enough, I need to repay the cost. Plus its you that needs to make It out alive. You have people that care about you, but for me...not much."

I hugged him and looked at him with a smile. "But I care about  you! Don't say nobody cares for you!"

He looked at me In surprise, like as if he hadn't heard those words before from a person. He hugged me tightly, unsure of what he had felt.

"Thanks for your support Alex, but this doesn't change my mind. I'm get you out of here and kill everybody here. It's what friends do, right?" Vanitas said, smiling.
