3 - Tying Up

Once they reached the top, Felix looked around, wondering were it went. Pj spoke up first.

"Where is it-" Everyone shushed him. He spoke quieter. "Where is the giant Pewds?"

Pewds looked around worried. "I swear it was right here."

Edward didn't look convenienced. "Are you sure?"

Felix pointed at Cry. "Cry was with me during the whole thing. Cry... tell 'em."

Cry looked very emotionless with that mask. No one could tell if he was lying or not. "I saw it. It was very big. It had red hair and-"

Edward spoke. "Look. If this is a joke I'll-"

"MMMMmmmmm...."

Everyone froze. No one moved a muscle. Ken spoke up.

"What was that?..."

No one knew.

"Uh... guys? Is it just me or is the ground moving?"

Felix didn't notice before. The ground was moving. Or was it the ACTUAL ground? Felix looked around at his surroundings. He almost had heart attack.

"G-Guys. W-We..."

"We are what? Speak up man." Pj said.

Felix continued. "We are on the giant's chest."

Everyone stopped breathing.

"A-A-Are you serious? No wonder-"

A sudden loud groan rumbled their bodies. Without asking questions, everyone quickly got off the chest and ran towards anything to keep them out of sight.

Felix and Edward were hiding in same bush. Felix was urged to take a quick peek. Felix peeked out along with Edward by his side.

The giant shifted in it's sleep, then the most horrible thing happened. It woke up. It's head tilted to look at its surroundings. It then yawned as it stretches, showing a sign of restlessness. Then just layed its head on the sand and just went to sleep. Like nothing happened.

Once everything was safe. They all came out of our hiding places, and met near Felix and Edward.

Edward was shaking. Shaking violently at that. "Ok. Now we need to tell the king."

The whole gang made its way to the ballroom door. Edward halted everyone.

"Only me and Felix can enter. It's for the best anyway."

Pj whined. "Why can't we all ent-"

"Edward is right for once. Only me and him. Sorry."

Pj sighed. "Yea. Sorry."

Edward pushed the door open with Felix far behind. The king was in mid conversation with a person I've never seen before.

"My king, I have some very important news." Edward said, as he bowed.

The king looked at Felix and Edward, agitated. "Did Felix do one of those 'pranks' again?"

Edward shook his head. "No sir. It's VERY important, and BIG sir."

Felix added on. "Dad! It's a-"

"Your very important news will have to wait."

"Dad please-"

"No excuses! Wait outside like everyone else."

The other guy who was talking to the king spoke up. "Let the kid talk. I got to go anyway. See if he is in agreement."

The guy bowed and speed walked his way out of the kings hall.

The king sighed. "Alright. Tell me."

I saw Edward choke back his words. "There's a giant on the beach sir."

The king's face went from confused, to arrogant, to shocked in a matter of a minute.

"Ok. We need to tie this beast up. Gather the townspeople, while I gather most of my men to protect us. Edward, you're in charge."

Felix tried to protest. "But dad-"

"I need to talk to you. Edward go!"

Edward bowed as he rushed out the door. The king shifted on his throne. "Son, we need to talk. It's about..."

Felix was agitated. "Its about my friends... Isn't it?"

The king shook his head silently. "It's mostly about you... son."

The king sat up and walked to Felix. "You need to set a better example to this community. Like Edward for example. He listens and acts accordingly-"

"So what you're saying is that I should be a completely, different, boring person?"

The king sighed. "I-"

"No. That's not what I want! I'm sick of you telling me who I SHOULD be! You SHOULD be proud of me for who I am!"

"But-"

"I'm sick of your bullshit dad. I'm going." Felix ran out of the ballroom with his crew still waiting for him.

"Come on guys, let's go."

Felix and his friends ran to the beach. There was already people here, tying up the sleeping giant, while Edward was giving commands.

Most of the people were working on tying him down, while some were gawking at it.

Felix ran to Edward while his crew followed behind.

"Hey Edward need any help?"

"Make sure you tug and pull! Uh... no actually. But I do want you to follow me."

Edward gestured his hand to follow him.

"Felix!"

Felix turned to notice Ken, standing in front of him. "Be careful. Ok man?"

"...I will."

Felix dashed to Edward, who was standing near the tied up giant. Without saying anything, Edward climbed the giant towards the upper chest area. Felix followed.

Edward sat cross-legged while Felix stood near him. Felix can feel the giant's chest move up and down slowly. "Felix... let me ask you something."

"...Ok, what is it?"

Edward cleared his throat. "This... beast can be great for us. If we tame it enough, we can destroy that neighboring town once and for all."

Edward's eyes beamed at Felix. "Wouldn't that be grand?"

Felix hesitantly nodded. "Uh... yea. I guess."

Edward looked at the giant. "Sit with me. It's gonna be a while."
