When we finished placing the giant on this.... movable platform that we made for him, we made our way to the kingdom.
I sat on the platform, swinging my legs side to side as I watched the townspeople glancing at the giant in awe. I myself decided to glace at the giant as well.
He seemed to stare at awe as well, but kept it more composed. He then locked eyes with me. It was like he was studying me with his eyes, looking at all my features. It was almost uncomfortable...
"Felix, don't encourage it."
Edward walked beside the moving platform I was sitting on. "We definitely don't want another accident."
I rolled my eyes. "I was looking at the giant. Relax."
Edward tensed up as he walked. "How I'm I supposed to 'relax' when there is a giant beast, that just popped out of nowhere? That can actually eat us?"
Edward shuffled to the front of the platform. "I care about our well-being." He mumbled.

As we finally made it to the gathering, many townspeople already were there, staring and pointing at the giant.
As we finally stopped, I leaped off the platform at ran to Edward.
"My king!" Edward shouted sharply.
My father, and many of his royal buddies came from out of the balcony, including my mom, and the princess... Signe.
The giant looked up to see the king. His eyes widened, looking at each of them. The giant wiggled around uncomfortably, making the platform shake a little bit.
"Hello... Beast. Can you speak or can't you?" My dad asked.
The giant seemed to hestiate, like it was finding what words to say. It shifted again uncomfortably.
"Yes sir..." The giant said. His voice was said with such softness, some of my anxiety towards this giant was gone, but not all. What surprised me was the tone of his voice. It was so deep and rough, it broke through the softness, sending shivers down my spine.
My dad furrowed his eyebrows, not expecting the giant to talk. "..Where do you come from beast?"
The giant flinched at that question, as if he was unsure. "It's a long story sir..." The giant murmured.
My dad frowned, stroking his chin. "Listen beast. We will hold you captive while you're here. Edward will be in charge of you."
My dad pointed to Edward, as the giant's eyes lead from dad's finger, to Edward himself. The giant's eyes widened, shifting around again.
I could tell the giant wasn't comfortable about this situation. If I was in the hands of Edward, I wouldn't be too.
My dad clapped his hands. "Dismissed."
The people of the balcony left, having most of the townspeople moving away as well, not interested anymore.
The giant looked at Edward and me, studying us once more. That gaze was still unnerving, making me to shiver.
Edward looked at him, putting his hands behind his back.
"Don't disappoint me beast."
