"Hello Granger, the tall blonde said to her with his infamous smirk. He had changed so much since she last saw him. To be fair though, she hadn't seen Draco since the end of the war. So, of course by comparison he looked better, everyone looked horrible at the end of the war. "I don't think you have officially met my mother yet have you?" With this sentence, he motioned to the tall, skinny blond woman who was standing behind the two boys.

"Uh, no I don't think I have. It's a pleasure to meet you, Mrs. Malfoy." Hermione said, as graciously as she could manage, as she gave a small nod to Narcissa. Narcissa also looked different from when Hermione had last seen her. Hermione assumed it was because of the fact that her son wasn't in danger anymore. However, Narcissa was looking at her with an expression that Hermione couldn't quite read.

"Hello, darling, it's a pleasure to meet you as well," Narcissa responded with a soft smile. "well are we ready to eat then Theresa?" Narcissa said as both Malfoys and Blaise took a seat. Blaise sat next to Hermione. Meanwhile, across the table, Draco sat next to his mother.

"Of course!" Theresa said as she clapped her hands together. As soon as she had clapped her hands the table in front of them was covered in food. Hermione couldn't help but notice that it was just like dinner at Hogwarts was. Then she thought to herself, 'No wonder all of the Slytherins never looked impressed when the same thing happened at Hogwarts.

Hermione had waited for someone else to dig in first, she thought that if she rushed everyone at the table would judge her. Luckily for her, Blaise hadn't wasted a second and was already pilling food onto his plate. Hermione had taken that as the good to go.

Halfway through eating Narcissa had asked Theresa if she would be free to talk after dinner. Theresa had told her that was perfectly fine with her. Draco and Blaise had given each other strange looks at the end of this interaction between their mothers. Hermione had assumed that this wasn't normal behavior for the two women.

When they had all finished eating, Blaise had taken it upon himself to rub, what he called, his "food baby". Not long after that Theresa had offered for Hermione to move into the manor. Hermione was surprised by this, and she responded that she wasn't sure yet and she needed some time to think about it. At that point, it was well after 9:00 and Hermione had decided that it was time to call it a night and head home. Before she left she had said goodbye to everyone then gathered her purse and headed out of the manor and down the same hedge-covered path back to the main road.

After Hermione arrived home she kicked off her heels and sat down on her couch. So much had happened today that she didn't even know where to start processing. She moved to her kitchen to make herself a cup of tea because that always helped her to think. After she had made her tea and was sitting at the bar in the kitchen she began to let the sweet, hot liquid pour her over and her thoughts along with it. She also thought about Theresa's offer for her to live at the manor. She wasn't going to lie and say that she didn't want to do it. However, she had been alone for so long that she was scared to change that. In the end, she decided that she was going to sleep on the idea of moving in with her mother and brother. She also came to a conclusion about Narcissa. She knew that she could not understand, nor control the thoughts and actions of Narcissa Malfoy. Therefore, trying to figure out what was behind her eyes when they were talking was pointless.
