Episode Two
“Revelations”
Scene I
Alan wakes up in total darkness, only a thin light breaks through and reaches its eyes. He feels dizzy and remembers that something was there. The book it’s by his side open where a picture of Alice half burned is resting.
He grabs the picture and gets confused about the whole thing. Alan reaches his cellphone and dials a number. He waits for a bit switching pages on the book.
Scene II/III
Alice is also on the floor, sleeping profoundly. In her dream she’s in the woods looking at the shadows that multiply.
Her dreaming-state is broken by a cellphone ringing. She wakes up in darkness only broken by her cellphone light. She looks at it and knows that it’s Alan who’s calling.
Scene IV
Alan – I’m bloody worried Alice.
(Long Pause)
Alice – I don’t know what happened…
Alan – Someone… something knocked me out to the shadows…
Alice – You too?
Alan – Oh god, don’t tell me… Meet me at the library in 10 minutes. Alice, this is serious, light up your place.
(Split-Screen)
Alan stares at the window and turns to the door, grabs his coat and car keys and heads to the door.
Alice regains herself from the door and finds a photo of Alan besides her. (The nightmare flashes in her mind)
She sticks the photo onto her pocket and light up the living room. She goes towards the door.
Scene V
Alan – Something happened to us.
Alice – Alan… I fainted during my search, I don’t know, I’m confused.
Alan – I found this … (Hands the photo)
Alice – Where did you find that?
Alan – When I woke up, the book was open beside me and this photo was there, inside of it.
Alice – The book!
Alan – Yes, the same one.
Alice – Guess you’re not the one (Hands the other photo to Alan)
Alan – What is happening to us? How is this reaching both of us?
Alan takes the book from his bag and places it heavily on the table.
(Light Twitch)
They both sense something and both see the Evil Presence rise behind the bookshelves. The book opens and a quote appears: “You’re Mine Now!”
Quickly Alice closes the book and Alan grabs it.
Alan – Alice Run! Now!
(As soon as he says this some books fall onto the floor)
Both erupt from the table running to the stairs, the evil presence is seen vanishing on the screen.
Once they reach downstairs they run against a boy, Clay.
Clay – I can’t believe it!
Alan – Sorry mate, we’re sorry.
(Clay takes a picture from his pocket)
Alan and Alice – Where did you..
Clay – You found it! (Surprised)
Alan grabs Clay and pushes him against the wall where stays holding him.
Alan – Are you messing with us? What’s your plan? What’s this joke all about?
Clay – You should never ever read it, it’s haunted, and you’re not the first ones…
Alan stares at the boy, takes a glance at Alice and releases him.
(Clay Whispering)
Clay – To become haunted
