Chapter 7

Kelsey's POV

I wanted to burst into tears. A few months after my dad went to war, we got a phone call. He was gone. He was in a bombing. No one but Andy, Lexi, Jessica, and Lauren knew. My dad gave me the snow globe when I was 5. I kept safe ever since. I looked at it everyday, it reminded me of my dad. Suddenly I felt warm, salty tears leaking through my eyes. 

Liam: Are you okay?!

Kelsey: Yeah, I just umm, need to be alone for a second. 

With that said, I ran into my room and cried my eyes out. I heard Andy telling the boys about my dad. I heard knocking on my door. 

Andy: Kelse. Can I come in?

She asked in a calm and soothing tone. 

Kelsey: It's open. 

Andy walked in and sat beside me. Andy and I were best friends ever since we were in diapers! She was the friend who I could tell everything, and she would listen. 

Andy: Wanna tell me how you're feeling?

Then I told her everything. I told her about how much I missed my dad, about Liam, and basically everything! All that time she listened intently. She thought for a second before speaking. 

Andy: You know Kelse, I was thinking. I was thinking about Liam. He really seems to care for you. All that time you were in your room, Zayn and Harry had to hold him back cause he wanted to come and make sure you were okay. We told him to wait cause we knew you needed time to think and you just needed some space. 

Kelsey: Thanks Andy. 

Andy: For what?

Kelsey: For being the most amazing best friend ever!

Andy: *laughs* You're welcome!

We hug for a minute. Then she leaves. I look at myself in the mirror and I looked like a raccoon. My eye make up was ruined and smeared all over my face. I quickly went to my bathroom and took off all of the make up. I decided to take a quick shower. I came out wearing this. <http://www.polyvore....et?id=103980256> 

I went out into the living room where everyone was waiting. 

Lauren: You okay Kelse?

Kelsey: Yeah. 

Liam: Can I talk to you Kelsey?

Kelsey: Sure. Let's go to my room. 

Liam: Are you okay babe?

Kelsey: Yeah. 

Liam: Why were you so upset that Lou broke your snow globe. 

Kelsey: Because it was from my dad. 

Liam: I understand that, but you can just tell him Lou broke it by accident. 

Kelsey: You see, that's the thing. I can't tell him. 

Liam: How come?

Kelsey: Because he died in a bombing a few years ago. He was part of the Army and he got sent to war and well, one day we got the call that he was gone. 

Liam: I am so sorry! I had no idea!

Kelsey: It's fine. I thought Andy told you guys. 

Liam: *chuckles* She was telling us something, but then I zoned out cause I was worried about you. 

Kelsey: That's so sweet. 

Liam: Now, let's go. Everyone's waiting. 

He dragged me into the living room. 

Lexi: You're not going out to dinner wearing that are you?

Kelsey: What dinner? 

Lauren: Didn't Liam tell you? We're going out to dinner!

Kelsey and Liam: What?!

Harry: Oh God. Kelsey, just go get ready. 

Kelsey: But. 

Zayn: No buts young lady. 

Kelsey: Yikes, you sound like my older brother. 

Zayn smiled smugly. I dashed into my room cause they insisted that I had to go. I wore this. <http://www.polyvore....et?id=103983067> 

Harry: Wow, you really are perfect for Liam. 

Kelsey: Why's that?

Niall: Considering your wearing a Batman necklace, and a Batman themed outfit. 

Kelsey: So?

Zayn: Liam loves Batman. He even got a Batman cake for his birthday. 

Lauren: Kelsey's obsessed with Batman. She has all the movies, tee shirts and everything. 

Louis: Is that so? *winking at me*

Kelsey: Shut up Louis.

Louis: Why so mad?

Kelsey: Let's see. You broke my snow globe!!

Louis: Sorry.

Kelsey: It's okay.

Then we headed out to the car. Everyone went in one car. Except, they made Liam and me go in Liam's car. I wonder what they're up to...
