One Snowy Night

One snowy night, I walked home from the ice covered lake. Many people came over to the lake to skate. Usually, people, including myself would be over there until it started to get dark, or started to snow. That night, I was having so much fun, that I didn't even realize it was getting dark. I put my ice skating shoes in my bag and put on my snow boots then started walking home. My home was almost two blocks over. If I was past my curfew, I would be grounded. I walk at a fast pace, trying to make it home on time. It begins to snow. since the snow is coming down fast, the wind is blowing, and it is nearly pitch black outside, I can hardly see anything. I become very scared now, not because I'm worried about being grounded, but now because I'm scared that I will get lost. A few moments later, I see the lights on my front porch. I get so happy that I start to run to my house. That probably wasn't a good idea considering I slipped on ice and fell on my behind. When I got up and got inside the house, my mom told me I was just in time for dinner.
