One Last Wish

Standing outside in the rain
I stare at the trees
I watch the beautiful branches
As they blew through the breeze
The magnificent blade has failed me
Leaving markings on my wrist
And as the blood runs down my arms
I pray for one last wish
I wish that I'd die quickly
For I'm tired of this pain
I wish that I'd quit breathing
Let the blood stop in my veins
I've found a quick escape from this life full of regrets
I am not screed to die alone
It is for the best
So I climb into the tree and feel the wind upon my face
I take my final breath of air
And listen to my heart race
As I fall down to the ground
I hear no one cry
And as my body dangles there
I softly say goodbye
