I Wonder, I wish, I Wait

You
The one with the beautiful eyes, gorgeous hair, and breathtaking face
You are the most beautiful thing I've ever seen
You stole the air from my lungs at the moment I laid my eyes upon you
You made my heart melt the moment you first spoke to me
You made me quiver and shake the moment you told me you loved me
But I wonder,
If I leaned in to kiss you
Would you let me kids you, or would you push me away
If I told you I loved you, would you believe me
Would you let me love you
Would you love me back
Would you let me hold you in my arms
Would you let the moments pass by as we sat together with not a care in the world about anything but each other
I would like to know, but I can never know
So I sit here and wish
I wish the same thoughts everyday
And I let each moment load on just as I do the last
And I wait
I wait for the day you find me
For the day I wish was already here
For the day that you can truly love me
