It was late at night and the chief sat in his office just as he had been doing for the past few days. The corners of the room were shadowed with darkness and the only light that was there was emitting from the small lamp perched on top of the desk. There was a rustle of paper flicking and the chief grabbed the cold beverage of beer and gulped down the last drops. He placed the bottle down with force before turning his attention back to the S.A.B.R.E case.

His hands rummaged through the papers frantically and he pulled out what he thought was a case file but was instead a frame. He stared at the photograph fondly as tears pricked his eyes and rolled down his cheeks.

The frame held a photograph of his son, Chiwon and the family...He had died today, lost his life when he was so young.

All the Chief could picture was his lifeless pale body drained from blood.

Blood.

There had been so much bloodshed today. They had lost many agents who had families and friends. Some had been injured so badly where it would take them a long time to be able to get back on to their feet again. Somewhere traumatised by the experience because they were not trained to see things so violent nor deal with a situation like that.

It had been many years since the U.N.T security was breached, the last time it happened it was also with S.A.B.R.E too when they were a huge threat in the past but now have only become an even bigger one.

Years they have been planning this. Years they have been building up their numbers.

The chief continued to stare at the picture of his son who was wearing a huge warm smile on his face as his hand rest on the Chief's shoulder along with Chiwon's mother.

The Chief felt loneliness hit him as he realized his family had been broken and severed.

His son was gone. His wife was gone.

Suddenly a heat of anger washed over him as he abruptly got up making the chair fall to the floor and smashed the picture frame to the ground causing the glass to scatter out across the ground. He then began tear and scrunch up the piles of paper lying on his desk without a second thought. He pounded his fist on the desk making it shake in movement and the small lamp fell to the floor reflecting the shattered glass pieces that lay there...

He seemed to rein himself in and shuffle back in the calm state he was in before picking up the chair and sitting down as if his leash of anger never slipped. He cracked open another bottle of beer and hissing sound echoed through the room as he stared at the other frame that was sitting at his desk.

It was a picture of Rina when she had finished high school. The Chief had loved her as his own daughter and now she had become the only meaningful person in his life.

His mind drifted off to Rina's parents and how proud they would have been of her.

So he stared at the picture Rina and let a small smile play on his lips and stroked the edges of the photograph as if to shield her from the dangers that lay on the outside...

Rina and Jongin had spent the entire day planning for tonight to be sure that nothing would go wrong... They were both sat on the sofa immersed in their own activities and planning.

Jongin watched Rina from a far focussing on her concentrated facial expressions as she used the electronic tablet to search some case files on S.A.B.R.E. She hadn't spoken much today and didn't seem to want to talk about the events that had taken placed last night.
