Fourteen Days | Jongin

Chapter Twenty Five

Jongin and Rina had drawn quite a bit of attention when they entered the venue and were now sitting at a table that they were assigned to. They were both on high alert and kept their eye peeled for the leader of S.A.B.R.E.

'Will you to loosen up and relax a bit. You need to act natural not a couple of statues who are staring around the room for god sake!' They both heard the Chief hiss at them through the ear piece.

"Oh thank god!" Rina sighed and let her body relax and looked towards Jongin who was still incredibly focused.

She placed her hand on his shoulder and he turned his focus towards her with a blank expression.

"Look we need to act natural so why don't we go and grab something to eat from the buffet they have?" Rina suggested with a smile.

"But we are on a mission..." Jongin countered back but Rina was already dragging him to the buffet. There was no way she was going to pass up the opportunity to have free food, so she grabbed a plate shoving it into Jongin's hands.

They both piled food onto their plates and Rina was reaching over to grab a drink which she assumed was non-alcoholic until Jongin snatched it from her.

"Hey! That was mine!" She whined.

"Do you know what this is?" Jongin asked gesturing to the glasses of red liquid.

"Uh juice?"

Jongin shook his head and let out a light chuckle..

"This Lee Rina is wine and there is no way I am letting you drink alcohol tonight not after what happened last time."

"Must you bring that up? I didn't know I was drunk nor what the heck I was drinking!" She pouted and grabbed a glass of water scurrying back to the table.

Jongin followed after her unaware of the eyes of multiple women who were looking at him as he walked over to her. Rina was already munching on the food and Jongin sat down popping food into his mouth too.

They were both eating peacefully when some women had strutted over to their table fawning and flirting with Jongin. Rina flicked her head up to the woman with an annoyed expression but they didn't seem to catch it since they were all focussed on Jongin at the time.

Rina grabbed Jongin's attention by placing her hand on his knee under the table making him flick his attention over to her.

"Oh you have a little bit of sauce.." She pointed to the corner of her mouth to show Jongin.

Rina did not know what on earth came over her when Jongin was about to wipe the tiny bit of sauce off himself and she caught him off guard by kissing him.

His body tensed in shock and he pulled away from her saw that all the women that were around him had seemed to scatter.

"Did you get jealous?" He teased her playfully.

"Of course I did you ass!" She said back at him annoyed and turned her attention back to her food.

Jongin shuffled closer to her leaning his head near her ear slightly but Rina chose to ignore him.

"Babe I'm yours and I'll be yours until the stars fall from the sky until all the rivers run dry. In other words, until I die.." He passionately whispered into her ear reassuringly.

Rina could feel her heart beating at a furiously fast pace and she felt as if all the air had been knocked out of her lungs when Jongin decided to bite her ear slightly as if to seal his words.

She had to bite back a gasp and pushed away from him.

"I'm just- I'm just going to top up my water glass.." She stuttered out and rushed away.
